INTRODUCTION
Sports Direct is a sport retail company located in Shirebrook, United Kingdom was
found by Mike Ashley in 1982. Company deals with the biggest brands for the category of men,
women and kids clothes, footwear and accessories. Organizational Behavior is a study for
academics of people interacting within groups and it applied primarily to make business operate
effectively. The report will explain How Leadership can inspire and motivate staff members to
improve performances and frame the aspects with effective models, methods and techniques.

Leadership is the capacity of a company's management which helps to set goal and
inspire others to achieve it by performing at the highest level. The Leadership can motivate and
inspire staff members with a responsibility by raising and maintaining morale and make
employees to understand the value leader's contribution in the business, aims to achieve
common goal (8 LEADERSHIP QUALITIES TO MOTIVATES AND INPIRESTEAM YOUR
TEAM, 2021) Leadership qualities that can help Sports Direct to inspire and motivate teams:
Provide a vision and purpose- Leaders create an respiring vision for the employees to
look forward and give purpose to the team. Through setting achievable and realistic
visions, Leaders work with the team towards achieving goal. By sharing past-experience
and personal stories leaders of the Sports Direct inspires, interpret and motivate the
employees which clarify the purpose of the work and achieving goals. For example
leaders of Sports Direct shares relatable stories to evaluate and explain vision to the
team-members which makes them less of a separate entity.
Set clear goals- Leaders set clear goals by setting strong communication and make
employees compatible enough to attains and complete the project. Clear set of goals help
employees with the clarity in the aim which enhance their performance and achieve the
goals in effective manner (Novak, Zarubinska and Perederii, 2017). Leaders of Sports
Direct lead the team members by the examples which gives clarity to the employees and
