INTRODUCTION Leadership is related to the ability of a person which is used by them to influence the will and ability of person towards the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. Leadership is one of the most important and valuable aspect of the business as it helps to control the workforce of the organisations. There are many employees are present in the organisation which has different needs and desires. The leaders of the organisation has great role in the organisation because they analyse the needs and desires and try to fulfil them so that the attitude of the employees are motivated towards the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. In the previous time it is saidthat the leaders are born not made which means the leadership abilities are developed in person with their birth and cannot be developed by the individual. This system proved to be wrong by many persons by developing the leadership abilities in their personality with the help of efforts and training(Alblooshi, Shamsuzzaman and Haridy, 2020). It is very important for the leaders that they have developed different types of skills in their personality such as communication skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills if they want to become the successful leader of the organisation. Thetopic which is chosen here to demonstrate this report is how the leadership style will have to adapt to manage the millennial generation. This report provide description related to different leadership style require to manage the workforce. It also provided different recommendations which has provide direction for the development. These leadership style helps the individual to become successful leader of the organisation which manages the employees in effective manner. There are number of leadership skills are required by the leaders to manage the employees. TASK Leadership styles Leadership refers to motivating others towards the work so that the goals and objectives of the organisation be fulfilled in effective manner. There are different types of leadership style are present which can used by the leaders to lead the employees in the organisation. It depends upon the nature and size of the organisation that which style of leadership are followed by the leaders. The leadership style helps the leaders to develop effective framework in the organisation which
has their own style of leadership. There are different types of leadership style are present in the market which are given below: Democratic style of leadership – It is one of the commonly used style of leadership which is used by many leaders to lead the people. Under this style of the leadership all the decision are taken on the basis of group discussion. The employees are free to provided their ideas and suggestion on any aspect. It is the duty of the leaders that they respect the decision of the followers so that they becomes motivates towards the goals and objectives (Al-Malki and Juan, 2018). In this type of leadership style all employees express their ideas which increases the level of accuracy and innovation which helps to satisfy the dynamic needs of the customers and employees. The democratic style of leadership are very valuable for multinational organisations which has multiple business functions. Ithelps to increase the productivity of the organisation which has one of the important part of the business. There are many advantages are present with this style of leadership as it increases the employees motivation and their engagement in the organisation. It also helps the management of the organisation to increases the creativity of the organisation and also promotes the development of team in the organisation. Autocratic style of leadership- It is related to those style of leadership under which the central authority of the power are the leaders and al the decision are taken by them on the basis of their personal qualities and skills. All the employees of the organisation has to follow the orders of the leaders without giving any suggestions. There are many leaders are present in the world which has used this style of leadership and Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon group has followed in this type of style. The chances of failure are very high in this style so it is very essential for the leaders that they have superior skills and qualities in theirpersonality which enables them to develop effective decisions in the organisation. There are many advantages are present along with this style of leadership (Rabiul and Yean, 2021). The decision making process of the organisation becomes fast because only one leaders has take all the decision of the business. The chances of mistakes in the management becomes minimised because of the fear of leader. This style of leadership helps to develop effective consistent result in the organisation. There are also some negative impact of this style such as the strict leadership can lead to development of employee rebellion in the organisation and it minimises the employee innovation and creativity. Analyses All the style of leadership which are discussed above are very valuable and important for the success of the organisation in the market. It is very important for the managers of the organisation that they analyse all the style and then choose the favourable style for their organisation. It becomes essential for the managers that they evaluate the nature and size of the business so that the effective style of leadership. The leaders should be dynamic in nature and are having the knowledge of different style of leadership so that they can use them according to the situation in the organisation. There are many peoples are present in the organisation as millennial generation who does not have any goals and direction in their career. Thus type of condition are very dangerous for their careers so it is very important for anyone to provide them direction and support in the organisation so that their career remains safe. Leaders are persons which can conduct this function in the organisation (Adnan,and Valliappan, 2019). They have abilitiesand skills in their personality which can influence the behaviour of any person towards the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. It is the duty of the leaders that they focus on this issue so that it becomes easy for the followers to deal with these issues. As per the analyses of all the styles of leadership it is concluded that autocratic style has promote the employee engagement and innovation in the organisation which is the need of modern business. There are many employees are present in the organisation and it is very important for their motivation that the organisation has provide considerable opportunities of taking decision
for the organisation. Delegation style of leadership helps the company helps the company to satisfy this need of the employees in the organisation (Hansen and Pihl-Thingvad, 2019). Recommendation ï‚·It is recommended to the leaders that they have knowledge of different style of leadership so that it can be used in different situations. ï‚·It is recommended to the management of organisation that they have used their leadership framework of their organisation so that they become more competitive in the market (Zhang Cao and Wang, 2018). CONCLUSION It is concluded from this report that the knowledge of leadership style are very important for the leaders. This reportconcluded description related to different leadership style require to manage the workforce. It also concluded different recommendations which has provide direction for the development.
