INTRODUCTIONOrganizational behavior plays an important role in which individuals and groups caninteract within entity. This behavior creates a healthy working environment in company that canbe positive or negative (Quick, 2007). An important goal of organizational behavior is toimprove the effectiveness of company and the extent to which it is productive and satisfies thedemand of its customers.The present report focuses on the brief evaluation of leadership theories. However, thereport also focuses on the impact of managerial styles on organization’s running. Variousorganizational culture and structural theories are discussed in the report. The study provides anevaluation of effectiveness of team working along with discussing the approaches of decisionmaking and the process which can be used to cope up with the risk and uncertainty.ACTIVITY 1A. Evaluation of leadership theoriesLeadership is a process that influence group of people towards the realization of goals.Theories of leadership are as follows:Autocratic leadership Styles: This style clearly defines the division between leaders andworkers of organizations. Leader keeps strict and close control on employees to ensure thatwhether policies and procedures are duly followed or not. Under this leadership style leader andfollowers have no communication and interaction as workers just follow the instructions ofleader (Barling, Clegg and Cooper, 2008). The autocratic leadership style allows the managers tomake decisions alone without the interruption of other workers. This leadership style benefits theemployees who require close supervision.However, it has been evaluated that although the giventype of leadership style help manager in making the quick decision about its enterprise but itcauses direct impact upon the motivation level of employees. Due to this, high quality of serviceswill not being delivered by the firm. Democratic leadership style: Under this, leader is sharing the decision making powerwith employees but the final decision is only in the hands of leader. It motivates the employeesbecause they make contribution to the decision making process (Jackson and Parry, 2011). Thisstyle helps the organization when there is a short time to take the decisions. Democratic styleshelp team members to have high job satisfaction and productivity.But, the given style will be4
