INTRODUCTION Leadership theories seek to explain how and why certain people become leaders. Such theories often focus on the characteristics of leaders, but some attempt to identify the behaviours that people can adapt to improve their own leadership style in different situations. Leading people is the art of influencing and motivating people in order to perform in a more enthusiasm way. In other words, it also helps to disclose the best and developing way to perform the work into more efficient manner. Present study will be based on leadership styles which is based on the leadership approach in order to understand the leadership styles and growth for the employees' development. For that, research will be taking John & Lewis which is a Home wear retailer company in UK. MAIN BODY Analysing the leadership theory and concept. Leadershipistheprocessorconceptthathelpsemployeestogetmotivatedand influenced positive behaviour which works of others towards accomplishment of specific goals in a given situation (Alamsyah, Darsawati and Suwiryo, 2018). In John & Lewis leaders influence the behaviour of other employees in a positive manner in order to develop the high positive environment within the organisational environment. Every big organisation adopts different leadership styles in order to enhance individual positive behaviour in to positive manner. John & Lewis leaders taking different approaches in order to perform or influence employees into the positive manner. Below presenting the deep knowledge of behavioural leadership theory that can help to company interns of making better influence level.Leadership is the best approach in order to build the effective team within the company organization. Big organization always adopts the best approach and theory of leadership in order to retained the potential employees within the organization and build up the productive outcomes and results. Behavioural Leadership theory Behavioural theories of leadership are classified as such because they focus on the study of specific behaviours of a leader (Kickbusch, 2016). The leadershipapproach or theory of leader play a crucial role in within the organization which makes or give high influencing potential growth in between the employees in order to accomplish the company profitability target and sources.John & Lewis deal with retail market which mainly worked in huge workload or with high range of employees (Barron and Sloan, 2015). Company needs to adopt different leadership 1
styles in order to make employee behaviour positive and influencing. There are different theory of leadership with different concepts or meaning such as Behavioural Theory, Trait Theory, Contingency Theory, Power and influence theories, etc. from all the theories Behavioural theory of leadership is more competitive and effective than others. Behavioural theory concentrate on the people qualities people have in their career or in professional life. This theory of leadership focuses on specific behaviours of a leader. It is the long lasting result growth that company could adopt in their day to day life (Chaffer, 2017).Generally, this style of leadership try to analyse the employees' behaviour in different aspects. Leaders are of different types such as task oriented behaviours and may make decision using authoritarian, democratic, or laissez fair styles. Different leadership styles helps in making different decision making in different manner. Leaders are different and use their styles in their own ways in different situational conditions. The behaviour of leader reflect their skills and marketing potential in different style or growth. In behavioural their leader has defined in different styles are given below: Task Oriented Leaders Task oriented leaders are generally focused on the company structure and the procedures of the effective leadership style and growth. Task oriented leaders are still concern with their staff motivation (Alamsyah, Darsawati and Suwiryo, 2018). Task oriented leaders are generally more concerned about the new major working goals. The main objective of the leaders are to fulfil the new learning goals. Concept of leadership is to generate the potential growth and enthusiasm between all employees. Besides, it also helps to full fill the notes and effective dealing target market channel. In other words, it would help to determine the learning goals and full fill the new target results and long lasting developing results (Delani, 2019). Leadership in management is very much required in order to built the new managing source and develops the new management. In other words it is also very much required to move good outcomes and bringsnewtargetopportunitytobuildnewenthusiasmbetweenemployees.Behavioural approach is far better than trait theory. Behavioural theory is more authenticated and leading in order to understand the employee interest and their long term targets towards company goals and objecvtives. This is the best way to control the long lasting generating goals in order to build up the new managing work goals. Build Confidence Behavioural theory of leadership is the source of developing new goals and build up the new managing developing source or ideas. Behavioural theory attempts to adjust behaviours by helping people to think differently and more positively about the challenges they face, and application of cognitive behavioural theory in a therapy setting can build confidence. By applying this to the company management it will be given more enthusiastic and challenging goals and objectives. By management program leader can understand more about employees in which they interact with employees through different style (Long and et.al., 2017). Management program will also help to make the work more enthusiastic. Leadership directly connects with the management or also different concept from leadership On the other hand, management based on policies, code of conduct or following the business structure. But on the same side, both leadership skills and management concept required to accomplish the business objectives and goals. It helps to retained and regain the company profit and employees. Like, in management term, right brain skill and strategies for leaders make company profitable and effective. It must have required to manage the work as well as the management needs. This present management program also full fill the needs and goals of the employee in several needs to generate new managing and successful goals. Leaders must be able to engage both the hearts and minds of team members and at the same time build co-operation between all members of their teams (Magbity, 2018). In other words, it requires to be more energetic and influencing the leading material task.Leaders have duty to analyse or leading the work targets and making the new working task and full-fill the business needs and goals. It is helpful and challenging for the company to adopt in order to manage the work level and performance of employees to gain market achievements. It has been also described by management program that leader is the individual who understand the requirements of employees and consult them towards the correct path and ideas to grow. It is must for the company to develop the deep understanding between the goals and ideas to promote long lasting results and new generational targets (Pesut, 2015). In other words, it described the best developing and new leading targets in order to generate the company profit and long lasting working ideological development areas. By applying management program John & Lewis get more leaders which inspired by others. Leadership styles and advantage will help more into the real world. That helps to manage employee role and long term process to deal with challenging performance task. The overall process or styles helps to developed the concept of leadership in within the company organization. In retail sector these kinds of leadership is more necessary to deal with the level of competition and goals. The concept of leadership is highly influenced or effective for the management in order to perform the best development results (XU and ZHENG, 2016). CONCLUSION As per the above study, it has been analysed the importance of leadership and from several manner leader can provides support to their employees within the workplace. Apart from that, study analysed the role of leadership and explained the leadership theory to understand the concept in more detailed manner. As study explained and evaluates the behavioural leadership theory. In which it defined, how leadership is based on different behaviour of individual. Leadership judged by the employee behaviour. After explained the concept or theory of leadership. Study moved on towards the leadership programme which based on leadership. Program of leadership described different styles or methods to influence employees towards positivity and growth.
