Introduction
PMBOK can be expanded as project management body of knowledge which is defined as
a collection of certain process, guidelines and terminologies. The practices of PMBOK are
considered as standard which is accepted in the whole project management Industry. This
particular practice is considered to be fundamental for project management (Brioso, 2015). A
house is to be constructed in Maylands of Perth, Western Australia by making use of PMBOK
framework. Australian government has come up with an initiative which is known as Keystart
initiative for house construction. An application has been submitted to this Australian body for
the house construction in Perth. A deal has been signed in between the land developers where a
deposition of 2000 Australian Dollars is required (Varajão, Colomo-Palacios & Silva, 2017). The
agreement has been signed off as Pre-Work Construction contract with the builder where a
deposition is required. Keystart is making the dream of affordable home ownership for thousands
of Western Australians. The vision of this body is clear that is providing affordable homes for
large number of people.
The report highlights implementing lean project management required for house
construction. Maylands has been chosen as the suburb where the house will be constructed. An
overview has been provided with required land size of house construction in Maylands. Proper
research has been done in the market for identifying the potential home where the construction of
dream home will be done. The report highlights the method of implementing learn best practices

PMBOK methodology will be required for selection of suburb in Perth, Western
Australia. In the initiation stage, the project will have authorized selection of this suburb (Chaves

by installation of wireless devices. In the monitoring stage, the overall cost of living in this
particular suburb is analyzed. In the closure stage, Maylands has been selected as the best suburb
for house construction. This particular suburb is situated around 10 minutes from the airport. It
aims to provide multiple options based on weather and schedule that is four bus route, train, and
cycle. It is very much close to the city. During the weekends, residents have the option of riding
bicycles to the nearby river that is Bardon Park and even East Perth. It is across the new bridge to
