2LEAN PROJECT MANAGEMENT Introduction The coming pages of the report mainly deal with FIFA World Cup 2022 which is expected to be held in Qatar (Bodily, Nyland & Wiley, 2017). The football World Cup will be held in Middle East for the very first time. Qatar is peninsula Gulf organization which will host the tournament. This country will host the tournament after their controversial winning in the year 2010. Small Gulf kingdom which only stretches to 180 km from one end to another. The country has population more than 2.5 million. For the very first time, the FIFA tournament will be held in May or July (Ivey et al., 2017). It has been done because Qatar is surrounded by Desert and the average temperature is around 45 degrees. So, because this problem FIFA has decided to move the world cup to cooler winter months. FIFA has claimed the fact that the match will be started on 21 Nov, 2022. Still in this month, Qatar will be having average temperature around 24 degrees. As the next World Cup will take place during the domestic schedule for the European countries (Hutchins, 2016). The present competition will take place for reducing the average time frame by 28 days. In the coming pages of the report, an idea has been provided concerning Prince2 for stakeholder management. All the critical stakeholders of this tournament have been identified. Various areas for implementing lean project management has been discussed in details. The last section of the report mainly deals with different kind of processes like PMBOK, Prince2, Organizational Project Management, Lean Six Sigma and Agile Practices. Discussion Prince2 for effective Stakeholder management Prince2 stands for project in controlled environment is a well-known process which is required for effective project management approach of this World Cup Event. It is a well-known standard which is used by various government and private bodies. Before an understanding concerning Prince2 there are some general key parameters which should be taken into account. Structured project management is required for ordering the project which is again divided into certain number of steps that makes it logical and organized (Heinemann et al., 2017). Prince2 comes up different kind of roles and responsibility which is required by project manager, customer and supplier, project board. Prince2 comes up with various kind of project management
