Introduction
The coming pages of the report mainly deal with FIFA World Cup 2022 which is
expected to be held in Qatar (Bodily, Nyland & Wiley, 2017). The football World Cup will be
held in Middle East for the very first time. Qatar is peninsula Gulf organization which will host
the tournament. This country will host the tournament after their controversial winning in the
year 2010. Small Gulf kingdom which only stretches to 180 km from one end to another. The
country has population more than 2.5 million. For the very first time, the FIFA tournament will
be held in May or July (Ivey et al., 2017). It has been done because Qatar is surrounded by
Desert and the average temperature is around 45 degrees. So, because this problem FIFA has
decided to move the world cup to cooler winter months. FIFA has claimed the fact that the match
will be started on 21 Nov, 2022. Still in this month, Qatar will be having average temperature
around 24 degrees. As the next World Cup will take place during the domestic schedule for the
European countries (Hutchins, 2016). The present competition will take place for reducing the
average time frame by 28 days.
In the coming pages of the report, an idea has been provided concerning Prince2 for
stakeholder management. All the critical stakeholders of this tournament have been identified.
Various areas for implementing lean project management has been discussed in details. The last
section of the report mainly deals with different kind of processes like PMBOK, Prince2,
Organizational Project Management, Lean Six Sigma and Agile Practices.
Discussion
Prince2 for effective Stakeholder management
Prince2 stands for project in controlled environment is a well-known process which is
required for effective project management approach of this World Cup Event. It is a well-known
standard which is used by various government and private bodies. Before an understanding
concerning Prince2 there are some general key parameters which should be taken into account.
Structured project management is required for ordering the project which is again divided into
certain number of steps that makes it logical and organized (Heinemann et al., 2017). Prince2
comes up different kind of roles and responsibility which is required by project manager,
customer and supplier, project board. Prince2 comes up with various kind of project management

techniques like project assurance, project support, project scope and lastly controlling change.
Project manager of this tournament is responsible for organizing and control this whole World
Cup event. It is the duty of the project manager to the appropriate person for organizing and
monitoring this event. Project manager mainly ensures the fact that the work is done at proper
time (Hegade, Rajkumar & Murthy,2017). Project Manager focuses on the point for
understanding the project team and what they aim to finish. Each of the project based on Prince2
methodology which comes up with a project board. It is required by executive for representing
the suppliers.
Project assurance aims to provide some independent view concerning progress of this
World Cup Event (Hambach, Tenberg & Metternich, 2015). Prince2 mainly comes up with three
kinds of views like business assurance, user and lastly specialist. Each of the given views mainly
reflects on three kind of board. Business assurance is all about analyzing the fact that project that
is World Cup 2022 tends to remain concerning cost and benefit. Just understand is all about
understanding concerning User requirement (Goldratt & Cox, 2016). There is some kind of
technical assurance which is all about delivery of solution for the encountered issues in this
event. Prince2 aims to solution to some of common issues which is interested in various kind of
third parties. Both kind of customers and suppliers are involved in managing the contract. This
particular method helps in analyzing the need of project breakpoints and control.

Prince2 methodology mainly comes up with seven principles which are needed to be
followed before applying to this World Cup Event of 2022.
Project should come up business justification: It is the duty of project manager of this
event to think about return of investment from this World Cup Event (Goetsch & Davis, 2014).
Various kind of benefits concerning cost and risk in this project will ultimately result in various
kind of benefits.
Team members should learn from experiences: Team should come session log lesson
can be easily learned about this event (Kaplanidou et al., 2016). It mainly emphasizes on
avoiding any kind of associated mistake.
Roles and Responsibilities: All the involved in the project should have proper kind of
understanding concerning the present responsibilities (Indrawati & Ridwansyah, 2015). Prince2
methodology tends to play a key role in this World Cup Event.
Working in Plan and manage stages: By the help of Prince2 methodology, the whole
World Cup event can be easily broken down into manageable stages(Jacobs, Swink &
Linderman, 2015). At the end of each stage a particular lesson can be easily learned along with
its evaluation that the World cup event is on track.
Managing team by expectation: Project board that is senior manager of this event aims
in checking time and cost. Apart from this, it put emphasizes on the day to day management by
project manager (Singh & Singh, 2015). If certain number of problems comes into picture, then
project manager needs to form the required board.
Staying focus on products: The team members should focus on meeting the needs of the
project along with providing best kind of services for the Guests of this event.

world Cup Event will ultimately allow control of resources and much better business. Prince2
aims to identify a list of thing which should be involved in FIFA tournament (Kaplanidou et al.,
2016). If anyhow the project does not follow the certain number of principles, then Prince2 is not
a suitable way for managing this FIFA World Cup Event.
Prince2 process
The seven steps of Prince2 methodology comes up with seven different kinds of steps
like
Starting Phase of the World Cup Event: It aims in creating a project which comes up
with total idea concerning achievable goal and its necessity in this World Cup Event (Jacobs,
Swink & Linderman, 2015). If the given project is created at proper time then, it can create
details of project management.
Direction to Project: The present project board helps in analyzing certain number of
beliefs in this event in Qatar. If it approved on time, then it can easily identify various kind of
resources to the project manager.
Initiation of Project: The present project manager of FIFA World Cup 2022 can easily
create a plan for this event (Ivey et al., 2017). It is mainly inclusive of different kind of
parameters like cost, quality, scope, risk and lastly associated benefits.
Control for the project: This FIFA World Cup event should be divided into smaller task
and should be assigned to the team members and project manager. Project Manager of FIFA

Managing the delivery of Product: In comparison to the progress of the project, the

related works. It is mainly done so that this World Cup event as per the schedule.

tournament.
Administrator: In this phase, the complete documentation is done for the meetings and
facilitation of the project. Based on the size of the project, the current admin role can be assumed

Critical Stakeholders
FIFA World Cup 2022 comes up with a stakeholder committee which is required for
advising along with assisting the council (Goldratt & Cox, 2016). The appointed committee is
also responsible for managing the current relationship among association, players and leagues.

From the above pages, it can be easily stated that there are certain number of project
management practices which emphasizes on lean methodology. It can be easily stated all the
required issue in the project can be easily tackled by the help of lean management principles
(Indrawati & Ridwansyah, 2015). There is various kind of lean management practices which is
required by project managers. It mainly tends to focus on the need of project manager. Lean
project management principles are mainly aligned with the overall success of the project.
 I am emphasizing on the viewing nature of viewers of this event.
 You are minimizing the total number of waste.
Practices related to lean project can be easily implemented within this project that comes
up with minimum value of labour and lastly equipment’s (Hegade, Rajkumar & Murthy,2017).
The present climate of Qatar is not considered to be supportive of the FIFA committee. So, as a
result there should be improvement in the climatic condition of Qatar which is not all possible.
Apart from this, there is large number of issues have been identified which is required for
understanding the overall budget that is allocated cost and conflict of internal committee and
lastly improper management of time(Heinemann et al., 2017). There is large number of problems
which are required to be eliminated from the perspective of the project. Some of the given steps
are discussed below like:
 Understanding the value from the side of customer
 Identifying the stream of value
 Making a flow of required value.

Elaborating process
There are large number of waste which can be easily checked by the help of lean project
management like
 Transportation of generated waste.
 Inventory for managing the waste
 Over-processing of the given waste
 Any kind of defect in the given waste
 Certain number of waste like overproduction.
In this FIFA event for 2022, huge amount of waste can be identified due to over
processing. Over-processing mainly deals with large number of things like scope creep,
excessive kind of approval, overloading of resources, hands off and lastly extreme verification
(Goetsch & Davis, 2014). The identified waste is needed for reduced so that it can be eliminated
for easy managing and implementation of this event. It can be easily assumed that project
stakeholders can easily complete the roles and responsibility.
Prince2
This FIFA World Cup 2022 Event can be properly managed by the help of Prince2
methodology (First, 2016). Various kind of project manager required to establish communication
by understanding the goals of this event. The project manager needs to come up with
methodology so that they can complete the project in cost-effective and time-saving in nature.
Prince2 can be expanded as Project in Controlled environment (Conger, 2015). It is taken to be
most effective kind of methodology which can be used in this event. It is considered to be helpful
in understanding the present roles and responsibilities of the team members of this FIFA World
Cup tournament.
There is some positive effect for the Prince2 methodology on this FIFA World Cup
tournament (Cohen-Vogel et al., 2015). One of the biggest plus points which can be obtained is
use of Prince2 in this particular tournament. By the help of this methodology, the whole FIFA

Lean Six Sigma
DMAIC methodology is a well-known tool which is required for solving the present
issues in this FIFA World Cup tournament (Matheson, Schwab & Koval,2018). It is mainly
required for carrying out some of steps like improving, optimizing and lastly stabilizing the
given business processes. There are large number of problem solving processes which can be
