Lean Project Management is important as it helps in removing the waste from the
project and increases the processing of the project. Lean project management will provide
success to the project by delivering the project on time and eliminating the unnecessary part
of the project. With the help of the lean project management, the productivity of the
organization is increased and the customers gets better service from the organization (Brioso,
2015). Lean project management is a method that keeps on improving and reduces the waste
involved in a process. All the process going on within an organisation works with a single
aim that is to improve the organization (Rolstadas et al., 2014). Many benefits are there after
the implementation of lean project management. LPM increases the productivity of the
project. Customer satisfaction plays a major role in project management. Lean project
management contains dissimilar types of lean concept that are as follow the lean
manufacturing, lean construction and lean thinking which can help in the management of the
project. Lean management adds the wanted things in the project and eliminates unwanted
things from the project (Nicholas & Steyn, 2017). Lean management consists of the five
major principles, which are put together so that the processing of the project is done properly.
The key aim of lean project management is to minimize leftover and to maximize the profit.
Lean project management reduces the amount of workers that are required, the equipment
and the source.
The main reason for the execution of the lean project management in the organization
is that it eliminates the waste that is present within the organization. Eliminating of such
waste will benefit in the fast and operative processing of the project. The reason for the
implementation of lean project management is to acquire greater sustainability, employee
satisfaction and to increase the overall productivity by increasing the profit (Ramadan, 2015).
To achieve certain objectives that are to identify the principle of the lean, to identify how the
lean principles works and the diverse kinds of materials that are wasted that need to be
identified that are present in the projects (Issa, 2013). The identification of the principles will
help in eliminating the obstacles that can slow down the process. With the application of lean

project management, every step of the project is improved, and the deliverables are delivered
just in time. On the other hand, decision-making is improved, and the unnecessary works are
eliminated if it is implemented in the initial stage. The implementation in the project helps in
making the management project interesting and gives learning opportunities from the
beginning. The implementation will help in bringing out the products and give services in the
market at a faster rate and with almost no issues related to the quality (Charro et al., 2014).
Another reason for the implementation of LPM in the project management initially it will
decrease the cost, helps in improving productivity, improves the quality of the product and
increases the profit margin. There are several reasons for implementing lean project
management. The LPM specifies the value, like what will happen once the project is in the
market, determines the complete process that is required for the creating of the project. It also
helps in eliminating the waste and thus make an improved plan, and it helps in creating an
impression in the market so that the project gets a positive response once it is out in the
market (Mann, 2014). The word lean means to provide thing when and where it is needed. It
also helps in the employee training, estimates the products and helps in the decision-making.
The lean project management is mainly concerned with the process of the project at the same
time infrastructure also plays a vital role.
Project is successful when it is able to achieve all the set objectives and able to fulfil
the requirement expected by the stakeholders. Suitable stakeholders related to the project
need to be identified and the reason why their involvement in the project is important.
However, stakeholders are an individual who is either having some interest in the project or
else has made an investment in the project (Emblemsvag, 2014). With the implementation of
lean project management, the communication between all the levels is made easier. The
decision-making capability is also improved with the help of the implementation of lean
project management. Communication is made easy, as it is the most necessary process for the
functioning of the project properly. Language serves as a barrier, which is prevented, with the
help of the implementation of the LPM. The project may consist of several numbers of
stakeholders some may be from an individual organization that helps in the decision making
the process. The more is the stakeholder identified by an organization; the more is the
chances that the project will provide more benefit to the organization. Stakeholders can be
affected either positively or negatively (Khan et al., 2013). The operation of the lean project
management can help the stakeholders in making the correct decision in deciding which
project will be beneficial for them to invest. The other aim is that the lean project
