Introduction
The significance of project management can be understood from its assessment since it aids in
scheduling as well as management of other tasks. It aids in the process of preparing goals and
making strategic plans in order to reach the desired destination. In this study, different
assessments have been chosen through which self-analysis for the interactive digital media can
also be carried out in a successful manner. Since the main focus of this study is upon this
industry, therefore, the organisation of The Bold Frame has been taken into consideration as the
client party. Formulation of project scope to its finalisation has also been thoroughly accessed in
this study required for a successful advertisement. Therefore, this study helps is an assessment of
various steps required to be followed for successful completion of a project within due time.

In this study, 3 job positions have been chosen for a thorough assessment of this study. These

Job Role: Marketing and Sales Manager

Job description: A marketing and sales manager is responsible for accomplishing various tasks
regarding business development through the aid of analysis marketing opportunities. A
marketing and sales manager is also responsible for implementation of strategic plans and
managing staff.
Skills and qualification: For this position, communication skill is important along with planning
of adequate sales goal. Organisational skills are also important for this position. A master's
degree in business administration is most preferable; however, a bachelor's degree in sales or
advertisements is plausible too.

Responsibility: The responsibility of marketing and sales manager includes achieving sales and
operational aspects for meeting target goals of a company. They are also responsible towards
formulation strategic decisions for meeting marketing and sales objectives.

Job description: The duty of an advertisement developer is to work with the creative team in
order to put out fresh ideas for various companies so that it can attract attention of potential

and 3-D technology to developed creative content for garnering adequate customer attention.

manager and is allowed to communicate with team members.

regarding functioning of a company.
Skills and qualification: A bachelor or master's in accounting is preferable for this job.
Responsibility: The responsibility of an accounting manager is to prepare budgets along with

Reflection on scope for reaching this goal
Among the three chosen job positions, my current position includes the responsibilities of an
advertisement developer. In order to achieve this position, I had to obtain a degree in Computer
Science which made knowledgeable enough to try hands at the field of media and technology.
After gaining a master's degree in this field I felt eligible enough to apply for jobs in this
industry. Since my specialisation includes working with 3-D technology, therefore, I applied in
the position of Advertisement developer. The process of 3-D technology aids in creating
innovative advertisements in order to gain attention of potential customers. Therefore, I had to
practice rigorously in order to achieve this feat. I had to stay consistent and focused on my job so
that I can continue to deliver successful results in the form of 3-D advertisements.

In this project, the main aim is to create an advertisement for the company of The Bold Frame.
This company is mainly responsible for creating quality frames which can be used for designing
as well as furnishing. It has also been observed that these wooden frames are made through the
aid of traditional technique of carpentry. Therefore, this project aims at creating advertising for
garnering attention to the products created by this company.

For this task, the role of project manager has been taken into account. The roles of a project
manager are indeed complex and require a lot of multi-tasking3. This is because a project
manager is responsible for looking after a lot of activities such as understanding the core
requirements of a project and relaying it clearly to the team working on it. A project manager is
also responsible for organising resources required as well as creating schedules required to be
followed for its proper completion. Therefore, a project manager is required to keep in track of
each and every activity which plays a significant part of a project4. In the advertisement project

Interview 1
According to study, the first meeting required to be held between the designers along with client.
The meeting took place through the aid of Skype and its proceedings of the meeting have been
listed as follows:
Designer: Hello. Thank you for agreeing for such a quick meeting in a short amount of time.
Client: It’s not a problem. It is about my project after all. Please tell me about the progress so
far.
Designer: Well, we have started with the concept of the advertisement. However, there are two
choices which I am torn between and I need your input to move forward. Another of the problem
is between choosing the appropriate font for the advertisement.
Client: Please state your queries.
Designer: Firstly, among the designs chosen for advertisement of products of The Bold Frame, a
dark theme had been the first choice. Not only does it make the advertisement look professional
but it also highlights the class of the products.
Client: What about the second one?
Designer: Well the second theme is quite the opposite in comparison to the colours. This theme
is light brownish in colour and it creates a warm atmosphere for the advertisement. I personally,
like the second option better. Therefore, it can be said that both of these concepts have been own
sets of benefits and disadvantages. Therefore, I wanted to clarify which one would suit your
requirements the best.
Client: Based on the previous report you sent me, I have observed both of these concepts
carefully. The black concept definitely looks appealing whereas the brown one seems to garner
my attention as well. However, the first one concept seems bold and is quite appropriate for a
company named The Bold Frame, don't you think?

Designer: Now that you have said, I can understand its significance. Also, I had another question
regarding the font for the advertisement. We have a bold font and another one in italics. I am
inclining towards the bold move since it establishes a firmer statement.

Interview 2
According to study, the second meeting is required to be held between the project manager and

Project manager: Well firstly, since the scope of the changed due to market analytics, therefore,
for making the quality content we always aim to give our clients, the time constraint seems to
create a bit of pressure at our end.

not something we can merely control. However, the deadline can be only being extended for a
few more days.

Reflection
This study has helped in identifying the significance of project management and its vital role in
conducting a project in a successful manner. I have identified the important factors which are
required to be conducted in a thorough and brief manner. After the assessment of project
requirements, it is important to divide the work accordingly so that it can be started. Therefore,
this study highlights the different roles and responsibility required to be undertaken for the
advertising project. The responses of employees in accordance with workplace culture have also
been briefly accessed. This aspect could have been a lot better if a thorough plan would have
been evaluated to identify the current internal problems so that adequate strategy can be
formulated.
However, I have effectively understood the importance of communication required in a project.
Due to this, effective means of communications have also been highlighted in this study through
which the project members can stay up-to-date and connected with one another. One of the most
important aspects which I have understood through this study is the need for open
communication so that the end results can be successful. This process has been applied for
clarification for various requirements for a better formulation of the project. The method of
clarification has been conducted through the aid of Skype and has been asserted in this study in
the form of roleplay. This helped me in understanding the potential problems which could arise
during the project and its effective measurements through which it can be avoided as well.
Through the aid of this project, it has also been understood that for its appropriate conduction,
various precautionary measurements are required to be adopted. However, this aspect has not
have accessed in this study. The importances of taking safety precautions are employees are a
must since it is the responsibility of the company to take care of such aspects. In a future study,
this scope is required accessed in a brief manner. I have also identified that the problems faced

during this study were handled effectively so that the rest of the work functioning can be done in
a successful manner. Lastly, a milestone chart in the form of schedule management has also been
evaluated in this study. From this, I have learned about its significance as it provides adequate
aid in keeping track with the respective goals consisted of a project.
Conclusion
Following of step-by-step process aids in conducting a project in a successful manner. The
significance of the work position in the industry of digital media has been through accessed in
this study. This study has helped in understanding the important factors which are engaged in
the process of project management. It has been briefly identified that following a scheduled
structure helps in successful completion of work in a better aspect. Therefore, through the
preparation of a draft, a steady outline had been formulated for conducting an advertisement
project. The next step helped in identification of various problems which has been de-structured
through the integration of proper communication. Identification of solutions has helped in
recreating of the draft plan in a completed document so that the project of advertising for the
