INTRODUCTION
Management can be defined as a set of principles which involves planning, organizing,
directing and controlling in an effective manner. Organization chosen for this report is Astra Plc,
which is a small sized company that is specialized in selling vitamin and mineral based food
supplement. The report includes a project plan for the app, project risk and success.
MAIN BODY
The Project Plan
Astra Plc is looking to diversify its product portfolio by launching a new fitness and
health app in the next three months. In order to develop the app, there will be a series of steps
that will be followed. The first step in the process will involve generation and validation of idea
(Hardin and McCool, 2015). In next step will involve designing the app during which various
factors like sustainable designs, risks and assumptions and the role of user experience and user
interface will be taken into account. This will be done in order to ensure that the final outcome is
effective and helps in expanding the product portfolio of the company. When the design is
finalised, the management of Astra Plc will hire experienced developers who will develop the
app. Once the app is developed, it will be tested within a small population in order to identify
any mistakes or errors. If any errors are identified, they will be rectified and then the final app
will be launched, that will be user friendly and allow the customers to order products with ease.
The last step will involve marketing and maintaining the app. Also, the time frame for this
project is 3 months. This will help the company in understanding the needs and preferences of
the target customers in more depth.

Project Scope
The app will be designed in such a way that it will offer the customers with a friendly
user experience. It will have a section that will display the risk of various eating disorders and
the required nutritional intake (Jennings and Stadler, 2015). Apart from this, the app will also
have different videos on yoga and fitness. The app will maintain a record of the calories of the
