Summary of the organization
Walmart Canada is one of the most well known super market chains in Canada. They try to make
sure that they are upgrading themselves regularly and are being able to cater to all the needs and
demands of the organization. The total number of associates is about 104250. They try to follow
both an employee centric and customer centric approach so that they are able to develop a sound
organizational culture in their company. They will be able to make sure that they are being able
to give back to the society and also they will ensure that the people are leading a better life (Kim,
2016). The company as established in the year 1994 and since then, they have been following the
method of a participative approach so that they are able to develop a proper relationship between
the organization and the targeted customers.
Customer base
They try to target those customers that are located in the close proximity of the organization.
This is because of the fact that they are using the saving Catcher mobile application in order to
make sure that they are able to increase the customer visitation or the store visitation (Van
Sloten, 2017). The company is mainly trying to make sure that they are able to target the
maximum customer base and also able to make sure that some or the other strategies are being
undertaken for solving these issues.

Demographics
The organization will be able to appeal to customers belonging from differ age groups. They are
trying to provide the goods and services that would be able to solve the needs and the
requirements of customers belong from all ages. This is because of the fact that they have baby
products that would be helping the candidates belonging from the age group of 6months to 3
years. On the other hand they also have the products like health drinks and others for helping the
people belonging to the age group of teenagers that is the ones who have to go to school daily
and also the ones who are involved in some heavy work (Pippert & Zimmer Schneider, 2018)
This also refers to the lifestyles of the targeted customers. They try to target those customers who
are tech savvy in nature and who spend a majority of time in surfing the net (Murillo, 2017) .
This will enable them to be able to use mobile marketing and thus Walmart will be able to attract
those customers who are tech savvy in nature.
Geography
The company is trying to ensure that they are able to target those customers who are living in the
distant region. In other words they are trying to ensure that they are able to reach out to all the
customers that are living in and around Canada and also the ones that are located in the Global or
the Universal level (Chatterjee, 2017). This will help in making sure that the company is able to
increase the customer base both in the local and also in the Global region.
Income group
They are also trying to sale their products to the customers with limited or medium income. This
will ensure them that they are being able to appeal to the needs and demands of the customers.
