The research report is emphasized on the topic of EI (Emotional Intelligence) based leadership within an organizational context. This research report is based on the topic of leadership based on emotional intelligence. Here, EI is an ability to understand as well as manage own emotions along with those of surrounding people so as to take effective decisions by the leaders of the international or local firms. In this way, a literature review is has been conducted on the chosen topic of leadership based on EI. Post reviewing the literature this discussion has drawn self-regulation, self-motivation and social skills being the useful recommendations from the perspective of great leaders. Finally, it has been found that leadership practice based on EI always enhanced the productivity and performance of the employees and people working under emotionally intelligent leaders.
