INTRODUCTION
Project management is the planning of guiding a team's work at a given period to
accomplish objectives and fulfil the success criteria. The project manager's main aim is to maintain
all the project goals inside the defined circumstances. Typically, this detail is defined in the project
report which was generated at the beginning of the construction process (Andersen, 2016). This
assessment based on the case study of Royale Pizza it was founded in 2007 and offer variety of
foods and other related services. This assessment covers the renovation project of Royale Pizza to
expand their customers reach as well as profitability. This report covers the several topics such as
implementation plan which cover all the necessary information, monitoring, execution and closer
phase of project management to get the success in this project.
MAIN BODY
1. Implementation plan
Overview: Royale Pizza was founded in 2007 by a businessman with over 20 years of
experience throughout the food service sector. Royale Pizza is associated with high quality and
traditional taste of Italian pizzas, and now they deliver 40 types of foodie and famous pizza. The
shop is situated on one of Melbourne CBD’s busiest roads, near the Southern Cross Station. The
main renovation project involves the work related to flooring, air conditioning construction, dust-
free lighting, improved compressor capacity and skilled kitchen exhaust cleaning. Machinery will
include buying 3 fryers, 2 heating systems, 1 dough roller, point - of - sale machine with proper
software and hardware to power it.
Management structure: In order to successful implementation of project plan,
organization should have matrix organizational structure. Project manager should have enough
power to maintain the project and direct their team members about the task which required
completing on time. The staff members report into two supervisors in a matrix organisation and one
is functional manager and another is project manager. Information occurs from the two managers to
the team leaders (Daniel and Daniel, 2018). The matrix organization is generated to achieve the
maximum value from the organisation culture of both functional and predicted form. Departmental
work is performed by staff members, and they also perform project task. Project manager of
Royalee Pizza should follow this matrix management structure and hold the entire power under
their hand and build separate team for it, who works under this renovation project. It helps them to
control the entire activities and at the end, project manager is separately accountable for it.
Style and culture: In this element, project manager should follow the best management
style to motivate their employees or team members to achieve project requirements. It is suggested

that, democratic leadership style is most appropriate but when managers want to complete any task
before deadline along with the quality, that time autocratic leadership style is most favourable to
adopt. Authoritative leaders encourage a dynamic sense of creativity and passion for the project.
Experts also claimed that "the ultimate leader is a revolutionary who inspires people by telling them
how the work blends into this dream," which will be true for every project.
There are various types pf factors which are focused while implementing a project plan. All
of them could be understood with the help of following discussion:
Clearly Defined goals: It is mainly focused with the mission of the project and well-
structured purpose of the tasks that will be performed to complete the project.
Competent Project Manager: An individual with effective technical, administrative and
interpersonal skills known as competent project manage who is very important for a project.
Top Management Support: All the internal as well as external stakeholders are required to

that they make sure that they have acquired all the required financial and other necessary
resources for all types of positive as well as negative situations.
Adequate communication channels: It is very important for the project managers to make
sure that there is open communication between the stakeholders, customers, owners and
manager. It can help to circulate the detailed related to project, its progress, objectives,
changes and needs.
Control Mechanisms: In order to measure the progress of project it is essential for project
manager to take proper measured of the plan and analyse that all the activities are running
according to the schedule (Eriksson, Larsson and Pesämaa, 2017).
Feedback capabilities: The stakeholders who are involved in the project should provide
feedback on the project and provide suggestions for corrections in the plan. It could be done
through formal meetings or information interaction.
Responsiveness to clients: It is very important for the project managers to interact with the
clients after completion of the project for any type of assistance which could be required by
them.
