 The first step is to open a document in the MS Word. If he or she is not working on any
particular document the he or she will have to create a new document.
 This is followed by writing texts on the document. The text can include any assignment
that is being undertaken by the user (Gow et al. 2017).
 The user ha to click over the fonts option in the task bar above the click on the option
fonts
 The user can then select the font style that is needed by them. For an instance there can
be any particular font style already selected like Ariel.
 The user then can change the style by clicking onto that particular style that is needed by
the user in the assignment
 For an instance the style of times new roman is usually needed by the students while
writing any academic assignment. Thus they have to select that particular style in order to
make their work in the times new roman style
 Just beside the font style, users will find the option of font size. The users will have to
place their mouse pointer on the font size option and then select the preferred and the
required number accordingly.
This formatting system helps in understanding the works in a very good and useful manner. This
is because many people are not being able to understand the documents that are written in a very
small font size. Thus there is the option of using different sizes of fonts as per the suitability and
the usability of the readers.

 The user has to write a short heading and then place the cursor over that heading
 The user then has to use the select the different broad heading styles like normal,
heading1, heading 2 and other such headings.
 At the right corner of the style section there is a small square like icon. On placing the
cursor over that small icon on the drop down menu appears.
 The user can then modify the heading according to their choice. They can select the font
colour, font size and the other such details
The heading s forms a very important part of any written assignment. Thus the headings have to
be highlighted, underlined and at times given the italics style as well. Apart from this there are
many assignments where the users want to stylize the headings in a proper ways so the targeted
audience or the receivers can get to see the actual information without spending much time. For
an instance in the academic assignments the headings play a vey important role as the teachers or
the professors look for the relevant topic under the relevant headings. This helps in adding an
academic and professional touch to the written assignments and one checking or reading the
assignment can also find the actual content very easily.

 The justification and the alignment can be done by selecting the entire text and then
taking the mouse pointer over the paragraph section.
 There are left, right and the central alignment option that can be chosen by the user.
