INTRODUCTION
Management is defined as the process of controlling a specific group as well as set of
entities through developing effective planning, organising resources, motivating and directing
employees and controlling efforts to attain desirable results. Whereas, leadership is the related to
the ability of an individual to motivate, influence and enable other to contribute to attain business
goals and objectives in efficient manner. It is important for any organisation to implement
effective management and leadership approaches that motivate employees and lead business
towards growth and success. In this report a case study is taken into consideration of Welcon
Automotive Ltd which is multinational automobile organisation. Mr. Jerry is the leader of this
organisation who is friendly and people-oriented leader. This report covers critical problems that
are faced by the Welcon of management regarding implementing structural change policies in
organisation. Along with that, effective management and leadership theories are implemented to
resolve the problems as well as some practical recommendations are explained that help business
to resolve their issues in efficient manner.

Leadership and management are the most important concept of organisation that helps it to
manage business operations in efficient manner, motivate employees and lead their efforts and
actions towards attaining business determined goals and objectives in efficient manner. Welcon
is the auto-mobile organisation that operates its operations at international level. Mr. Jerry is the
leader of respective organisation who adopts people-oriented approaches on the other hand, he is
very strict leader when it comes to work as well as does not tolerate employee’s mistakes
regarding to ethics and values (Anthony, and Antony, 2017). In organisation, majority of
employees are happy with leader’s friendly approach. Everything is good in organisation until it
witness a transformation. With the objective of business development, organisation adopts
structural change policies. Top management of organisation want to being change in business
structure for the purpose of reducing business expenses.
Employees of organisation started facing various problems or obstacles in performing their
