communication in the team, it affects the overall effectiveness of the team members along
with affecting the productivity of the team negatively. The different questions which have

strategies for inheriting potentiality of the teams in team meetings.
In answering the issues and questions discussed in the article, the same can be
addressed through conducting the team meetings. With the help of the team meetings, it is
helpful in building supportive relationships and it provides a safe environment for working
that will be effective in managing the different activities in an appropriate manner

try to provide proper chance to the members in giving one another feedback, however
providing the feedback should not be critical, rather it should be one to one meeting that will

enhance morale of the employees and it will be creating learning opportunity for the members
in the team as well.
Through the introduction of traditional input-process-output model, the performance
of the team can be maintained that will be enhancing the growth of the company
appropriately. As per the respective model, the input process includes the different aspects
such as personality of the team members or the financial incentives which can be provided to
team members and the output will be based on their productivity of the company or the
effectiveness of the team. As per the respective model, the problems or the issues can be
solved through introduction of providing opportunity to build open forum which will be
enhancing the cooperation of the team in solving the different problems and it will make the
team more effective and cooperative in nature as well.
The major significance of the issues or the problems which have been analysed from
the respective article includes the different aspects which includes the fact that without proper
team meetings, the employees will not be able to perform appropriately. Proper motivation is
the key element which should be incorporated by the company or the top-level officials and
provide the same to the employees as it will help them in performing accurately and it will
generate huge productivity in the team as well.
The interaction in the team meetings play a vital role in making the members feel that
they are valuable asset of the company and their valuable feedback matters as well.
Moreover, on the basis of functional approach of problem solving aspects, it can be identified
that the functional teams are more effective and they perform the tasks more appropriately
than the dysfunctional teams. In case of the dysfunctional teams, there is no motivation
among the employees and the productivity is negative that affects the brand image of the
company in comparison to the other competitors in which the functional teams are
maintained. With the questionnaire and interview which was conducted, more than 59 teams
felt that the functional team perspective is the most appropriate approach which should be
followed by the companies as it will be enhancing morale of employees and there will be no
such complaints of employees against their bosses.
From the article, it can be found that there are few communications which will be
helpful and there are some which proves to be harmful for the organizational and team
success. The action-oriented communication in the team meeting can be helpful for the

2018).Moreover, while conducting the team meetings, it will be treated as the improvement
along with learning opportunity for the individuals as meetings are the inevitable part of the
organizations and business and it is the good place to learn more on wider organizations and
the strategies to be adopted to work in a team.
In addition, the team meetings should be adopted in a positive manner which will be
enhancing the growth of the company and there will be rise in productivity of the company.
The morale of the employees will rise when the team meetings will be providing safe
working environment for employees and gain more conducive relationship (Ladegaard&
Jenks, 2015). The team leaders need to use the team meetings to clarify the mission and
vision of the company that will be playing major role in making it more efficient (Lindberg et
al., 2015).
The leadership is the most difficult aspect in managing the team meetings as
managing the various requirements of followers is the toughest aspect which should be
managed through providing them proper scope that will play a vital role in improving the
morale of employees in performing the activities and gain competitiveness against the others
present in the competitive business environment (Lumenta et al., 2019). All the team
members should be provided with the scope of showcasing their ideas and vision on the team
building approach that will enhance their morale and it can be helpful in building supportive
kind of relationship with the team members as well (Kossek, Thompson &Lautsch, 2015).
After the entire analysis of the respective article, there are future recommendations
which can be incorporated by the team leaders and members in the organizations as it will be
enhancing their morale and the work will be done in an effective manner as well. Before
setting the work, there is requirement of preliminary meeting which will be focusing on the
different suggestions and viewpoints of the different employees as it will be enhancing their
morale and it will support them in getting the things done more accurately (West, Hoff&
Carlsson, 2016).
Firstly, the agenda is required to be linked with mission of the company and the
employees and employers of the companies need to understand the role of team meetings.
The encouragement of participation is the other crucial aspect which should be maintained by
the companies as it will make the purpose of the meeting clear and the relevancy in the

purpose of meeting will be appropriate in managing the decision-making approach (Pillay et
al., 2016). The actionable meeting can be the other approach which can be adopted by the
team leaders while conducting the team meetings wherein it will be inclusive of the recap of
the previous team meets which will be inclusive of making the responsibilities and timelines
clear and it will be effective in putting forward the new goals (Thomson et al., 2015).
In addition, the team meetings should be used by the companies for collaborating with
the various employees as it will motivate the different employees and gain competitive
advantage in the market (Karanges et al., 2015). Instead of just sharing the different
information with the employees working in the company, the main agenda of the team meets
should be relating to try solving the different problems along with arriving at a proper
decision that will be enhancing the overall growth of the company in a proper manner
(Titsworth& Okamoto, 2017). The lightening up as a team leader is the other essential aspect
which should be managed by them wherein the authoritative aspect should not be maintained,
however there should be inclusion of proper keeping proper sense of humour and humility
which will be enhancing the growth of the company and the team leads can be helpful in the
enhancement of the growth of the team members appropriately (Shumski Thomaset al.,
2018).
Therefore, it can be concluded that the leaders need to be become the role model of
the team as it will be enhancing the team meetings and follow ups will be appropriate in
making the team members committed towards achieving the goals and improving the overall
effectiveness of the team members as well. In order to create a proper opportunity as a team
lead, team meetings should be considered more effective items in achieving the objectives of
the team and it should be providing open opportunity to come together and reflect on
progress of the different aspects which should be followed by the company.
