Introduction
Performance management has become an essential strategic elements in every
organization (Aguinis& Bradley, 2015). In case of ensuring the performance improvements as
well as dealing with the emerging challenges in the market in case of managing the emerging
challenges in the market. The purpose of this study is to shed light on the contribution of star
performers in an organization in case of ensuring the positive growth. The report has also shed
light on the importance of star performers. Highlighting different key influential factors the study
has critically examined the processes of producing the star performers. Apart from that, the
report will also illuminate on the engagement level of the classmates in the discussion forum.
Moreover, the report will link the discussions of the participators with the topic “The secret
sauce for organizational success: Managing and producing star performers.”. The participators in
the discussion forum were Jessy Felix, Teja Sagiraju, Jeewani Wawinnage, Jeewani Wawinnage,
Samah Jallad, Elif Pelit, Vuthy Ly, Duneesha Kurupanawa, Gamage, Ashish Dhanwani, Chang
Chen, James Pallissery, Albert De Vera and NadarPrincy Christopher.
Significant contribution of star performers
In order to maintain the sustainable growth in an organization, it is very important for the
management to focus on retaining the star performers (Aguinis& Bradley, 2015). Depending on
the star performer retention initiatives, the internal culture in the workplace can gets influenced.
In case of banking sectors, due to increasing balances in the savings accounts, it becomes
challenging for the managing authorities to maintain the performance standard in proper manner.
In this situation improving the performance of individuals has become necessary for ensuring the
noticeable position in the workplace. Managing and producing the star performers have become
common factors for ensuring the higher achievements in the organization. The term star

performer indicates those people who are capable enough for influencing others around them. It
cannot be denied that star performers make significant impact in case of helping the organization
to expand its business (Aguinis& Bradley, 2015). By producing the effective performance in the
workplace, the contribution of the star performers towards the goals of the company gets
increased. Creativity and innovation can be considered as the important components which exist
in the characteristics of the star performers. Identifying different role for performing the job
responsibilities, the star performers make their important contribution for bringing the changes in
the workplace. In case of contributing in the values of the star performers can be chosen from
different group of people. While referring to the discussion forum, Chang Chen said that the
prime criterion of creating a professional team is to communicate with the high performer and
meeting their implicit needs. As per the statement of James Pallissery, the best way to motivate
the high performer is to engage them with the activities of their interest or otherwise they can
easily get bored with restricted environment of workplace.
Maintaining the extraordinary existence of themselves in different sectors, the rather than
following the normal distribution process, the star performers follow the power law distribution
process. In the 21st century, due to increasing contribution of star performers in different sectors,
the nature of work has got influenced. It cannot be denied that in case of driving the economy of
different countries, the contribution of star performers has not only brought impact on work
nature but also it has developed the infrastructure in different sectors. Introducing the power
lowdistribution process, the large numbers of people have got motivated by the star performers.
In the year 1913, the Model T was invented as an effective method for bringing the advancement
in manufacturing industry. In the earlier stage of this century, the working nature of people was
