Shift supervisor provide support in customer service, training, gives education and knowledge of the product, practices a safe work and provide a House Rulesand GuidingPrinciples.Theshiftsupervisesthebaristaandshiftbarista.The supervisor has to work as a manager when the assistant manager and the store are absent. The supervisor have to assist the store manager to maintain a proper coverage and have to handle the cash for store funds at the time of running the shift. Role ofShiftSupervisor As a Shift Supervisor primarily work in Red Rooster and run the staff in the absence of the manager. In this role the supervisor has to direct the employees about their daily routine. Moreover, the supervisor also makes sure about the customer experience and interact with them to satisfy them as much as possible. The Shift supervisor ensure the satisfaction of the customer by providing proper training to the employee, have a quality control and adhere to the policy of the company. In the food services, the supervisor makes sure that the employees are able to perform variety of tasks, from serving, stocking supplies, preparing food, charge food, handling cash, credit cards, resetting tables, cleaning tables and counters, answering question and greeting customers. The Shift supervisor has to report directly to the assistant manager or managers. The shift supervisor has to produce customer service in a friendly manner, with courteous, relaxing demeanour and provide a quick service. This will help to repeat the same customers to visit again. The supervisor has to work with the team to give a great dining experience. In this job role the supervisor has to keep motivating to the employees, resolve the conflict and even make hard decisions. Principal characteristics of individual or groups Suppliers-The characteristics are rapid delivery without any hassle, high service levels, production capabilities, accounting capabilities, ease of communication and ethics. Finance Executive-The characteristics are honesty, high integrity and trustworthiness, strategy-minded, proactive, analytical, team-oriented, decision-maker and understanding of corporate taxes. Marketing and PR Executive-The characteristics are ability to communicate, insatiable curiosity, creative streak, boundless enthusiasm, loyalty, great listeners and sales people and team player. HRexecutive-Thecharacteristicsareknowledgeandexpertiseofhumanresources functions,communicator,presenterandinnovation.Theothercharacteristicsare approachable, time management, delegator, self-discipline, decision maker, trust advisor, business acumen and motivator. Employees-The characteristics are disciplines, dependable, initiative taker, responsible, good attitude, adaptable, creative and great communication skills. Nature of interdependency Suppliers-The interdependency exists in a way that they are directly dependent on each other as suppliers provide necessary requirements that a manager requires for its business while suppliers are required to supply materials that are required for the business. Finance Executive-The interdependency exists in a way that they are directly dependent on each other as finance executive helps to provide financial capability of business to supervisor.

This shows that they are not exactly interdependent but to improve business they interact on a regular basis. HR executive-The HR executive helps to provide an overall management of the business where recruitment and training are done by the executive. Thus it is directly interdependent with supervisor to communicate and manage the overall business functions. Employees-The employees are interdependent directly as they both interact to deliver best quality of services and products to improve the performance of business. It has to assist in driving the cultural changes and provide an exceptional customer services. The members that will work under me would be the staff, supervisor, peers, customers, suppliers, regulators. The staff member will be interacting with me. Recommendation It is strongly recommended to the supervisor to accurately measure the performance of each individual to get a best customer satisfaction.
