2MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVES Critical reflection Use of data Considering the topic of the assignment, the leadership aspects largely influence the business management activities and are associated with the control of project team members, delegatingtherightrolesandresponsibilitiesalongwithkeepingtheteammembers motivated and encouraged to facilitate coordination and team working. The leadership aspect not only enables utilising own strengths to guide the team members in the right direction, but also facilitates understand the behaviours of team members and deal with the complexities that may arise while working as a team (DuBrin, 2015). Based on the assignment done previously, I have been working as a leader of a team comprising of five members at a pharmacy store. The self-reflection process will be presented in this report for the facilitation of learning and development process, furthermore manage teams effectively to draw in potential outcomes all throughout. The natural occurring data has been managed by me, as the leader of the team within the pharmacy store, through various conversations that I have managed with the team members. I have also end emails to the team memebrs to inform them about the business aspects and ensure management of corporate artefacts for strengthening the corporate culture and manage flexible working conditions too (Chuang, Jackson & Jiang, 2016). From the Gallup report, the theme of relator focuses on the strengths and the words or phrases that stand out to me include vulnerability, openness, honesty, dependable and ability to exploit opportunities. The includer theme enables focus on the major words that include acceptance of others’ views, attention to detail and positives and forming relationships too. The theme of developer represent the strengths of a leader to manage growth and development of others, i.e., the team members and ability to acquire the useful views, ideas and opinions of others

By managing conversations, emails and corporate artefacts, I have also promoted good communication among the team memebrs, which can also improve team working capability and raise my potential to make effective decisions in business as well.In terms of the talents and skills that I possess, for the relator theme, I would like others to see my honesty and openness, while for include, my friendly disposition and social behaviours could likely influence others to believe in me (Huang, 2013). For the developer theme, the skill of mine that stand out could be the positivity towards work and curiosity to acquire new skills and knowledge.For the relator theme, In spite of these benefits, there are few drawbacks as well such as team conflicts, which can make me take sideofoneindividualandactagainstanotherindividual(Körneretal.,2015).The conversations should be managed by me in team meetings held regularly to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth communication process management all throughout. As the leader of the team, I also made sure to acquire their views, ideas and opinions, which should make them feel valued by the organisation and at the same time, improved my skills and knowledge to emerge as a successful leader. The feedbacks provided by my colleague has helped me in understanding my strengths and weaknesses, which have helped in exploiting the scopes and opportunities to manage good leadership while working as a leader at the pharmacy store (McCleskey, 2014). While performing as a leader within the organisation. I found myself to be diplomatic and participative, which has enabled me to consider the ideas, views and opinions of the team members with whom I have been working, thus improving my ability to perform as a successful leader and mentor. I have always tried to clarify the tasks as well as the roles and responsibilities delegated to the team members, which has allowed me to gain the trust of the staffs too. Being diplomatic has though enabled me stay away from conflicts rather than facing those and resolve, which can be a weakness from my side (Men, 2014). I would like to work on that and make sure to use my leadership skills and attributes to keep the team members motivated, encouraged and to ensure that they perform to their potential within the workplace. Discussion of self-improvement The self-reflection process has not only helped me to enhance my skills as a leader, but also enabled me to focus on the development of a good corporate culture, furthermore

My ability to remain dedicated to my team members and maintaining even tempered nature has also helped in maintaining a good circle of friends, families and acquaintances with much ease and effectiveness (Matteson & Russell, 2013). I would like to improve the areas of conflicts and make sure to deal with those responsible rather than staying away from those. I would also focus on managing effective communication among the team members and promote diversity management for facilitating teamwork, collaboration and efficiency in terms of business functions and processes too (Huettermann, Doering & Boerner, 2014). To manage self-improvement, I would also like to work more as a mentor and guide to the team members and remain passionate. This could assist me to keep the team memebrs involved in the project motivated and encouraged, furthermore ensure display of enthusiasm and passion to achieve the leadership outcomes that should benefit both the business, its employees as well as myself (Carver & Klein, 2013). I would also like to create more scopes and opportunities for the growth and development of the team memebrs, which would be possible by arranging necessary training and development sessions. This should create positive mind sets among them and also allow for improving their skills, knowledge and expertise, furthermore facilitate making collective decisions and working towards a common goal and shared vision too (Ghasabeh, Soosay & Reaiche, 2015). The strengths that I already possessed must be assessed and at times, focus on enhancing the strengths furthermore, to guide the employees towards the achievement of goals and objectives as well as make the right decisions in business.
