INTRODUCTION
Employees are one of the most important assets for an organisation that leads
management to accomplish desired goals by designing workforce roles towards a similar
direction. Equality among workplace is relevant among all organisations whether it is performing
operations at small level or large level. On the other side, the term diversity determines
differences between two or more individual (Urpelainen and Yoon, 2016). This report is written
from perspective of Rowlinson Knitwear which is UK based organisation and it is operating their
business within clothing industry. Moreover, the report highlights on equality and diversity
policy which provide similar opportunities to all workforce. Aims and objective will also include
in this report that leads to understand diversity aspects in organisation. Gantt chart and WBS
tools are also focus in the upcoming report. In the last, some recommendations is given which is
based on the research aspects for drawing meaningful conclusion from report.
TASK 1
P1 Project aim and objective
Global business aspect is monitor among all organisation and industry that exists in business
environment. This governs that the number of company branch is increasing with rapid speed
that leads to operate business at different locations. Therefore, number of employees is also
increased that leads management to perform operations and functions at a large level. But the
major challenge faced by enterprise relates with difference in the culture, religion, experience
and language of individual who all are engaged in performing similar operations. So it is
mandatory to promote equal opportunities in organisation to formulate positive working
environment within organisation.
Project- A set of action, activities and operations that are performed in a sequential manner for
generating positive outcome are recognised as a project (Sundah, Langi and Maramis, 2018). The
main function of a project is to develop a specific result by completing decided steps or task
within a stated time period. Along with this project also helps to gather available resources that
are required for complete of project.
Project management- The term project management refers to the completion of project from its
initial point towards the end of project. There are numerous process, skills, methods and

knowledge are implemented in organisation for achieving decided target that is decided by
organisation.
Aims
“To determine different strategies and initiatives that can be used by organisations to develop
diversity and inclusiveness of workers which will help the organisation in gaining a competitive
advantage in the market.” A study report on Rowlinson Knitwear.
Objective
To understand and examine the impact of equality and diversity among the organisation.
To improve the awareness about policy related with equality in the workplace.
To analyse the benefits of equality and diversity strategy to improve work efficiency of
employees.
P2 Formulate of project management plan
Project manager are responsible for creating project management plan that undertakes
different inputs from team members of project and key stakeholders (Saundry and et. al., 2014).
Along with this project management plan is defined as a formal approved document which
defines aspects such as cost, time etc. which demonstrate steps for executing the project. Along
with this there are different task are also performed so with project management plan all task are
completed in decided time period. In the context of Rowlinson Knitwear project management
plan is used by management for performing their operations for accomplish of company goals
and objectives. Moreover, there are different benefits offered by project management plan that
are mention as follow:
To work with decided schedule from the initial period of project.
All resources related with business are accomplished with an effective manner.
Possibilities to accomplish desired outcome is also increased by following decided
step.
Project management plan for this research is mention as follow:
Scope- The term scope demonstrates the number of opportunities that exists and easily
understands with the complete of research. From the perspective of equality and diversity
topic it is identified that investigator is able to gain more knowledge about the
information related with employees. This refers individuals are performing its work

among different project but with understand of equality project it is easy to manage
workforce which work as positive point in future.
Communication- It is the key for each individual to accomplish desire results by
performing all work with help of right communication channel (Rubin, 2016). Moreover,
with right communication channel project is completed in minimum time period. In
context of this research transparent communication channel which relates with phone
calls and text. It is also used to develop adequate communication that is designed to
accomplish research. Further, to generate interact with respondents e-mail are used for
analysing actual number of respondents.

Structure- With right structure it is easy to complete all project according to decided
structure as it is also essential for investigator for performing report with right structure in
order to generate meaningful conclusion from project. Moreover, for this research project

Resources- For finishing research in a proper way it is recognized that examiner should
gather all assets which are required for consummation of task. With regards to this
