Diversity and equality can be consider as a major part of organisation as it helps in
enhancing employees satisfaction (Ahmed, Jimenez-Jimenez and Martínez-Costa, 2013).
Company have employees with different part of the world and with different cultures. It is very
important to promote equality and diversity as it helps in smooth functioning of organisation.
Equality refers to ensuring that each and every employee have equal opportunities irrespective of
their caste, culture, gender etc. Diversity can be define as a replacing difference of people and
groups with the positive values. In this research, chosen company is Louis Vuitton. This is a
French multinational company which is dealing in fashion retail sector. Louis Vuitton was
established in 1854 and founder of this organisation is Louis Vuitton. This company is located on
70 countries and there are total 4592 number of stores in the world. Louis Vuitton has 156088
employees which is helping this company to earn revenues of € 46.8 bn plus 10% also. This
company is gaining € 10 bn profit from recurring operations and its net profit group share is €
6.4. Its headquarter is located in Paris, France and it is providing high quality luxury goods to
different part of the world. This is one of the top brand of fashion industry. In this research
includes detailed study about equality and diversity as well as its current issues at the work place.
It consist of different types of strategies such as celebrating diversity, minimising discrimination
in order to response of sexual harassment issues in respective organisation. This research report
include different methods to collect and gather important information in order to conduct a
proper investigation.

Background of Project:
Louis Vuitton is a well known and leading brand in fashion retail sector. It is providing
fashion luxury products of high quality. This is a French fashion house and retail company which
is providing ready to wear products (Annanperä, Liukkunen and Markkula, 2016). It product line
includes shoes, watches, jewellery, sunglasses, clothing products and many more. Headquarter of

Louis Vuitton company is located in Paris, France and it is providing its products and services to
various parts of the world. This company was introduced by Louis Vuitton in 1854. this
company is selling its high quality products to boutiques, departmental stores as well as through
e- commerce section. This company is using different strategies which helps in encouraging
diversity within organisation. Strategies such as communicating positive impact diversity within
organisation, communicating diversity policies and many more. In this research project primary
and secondary data is collected information and data. Proper project management plan needs to
be developed so that right information can be identified. Topic of research is-
How have companies responded to current issues of equality and diversity in the
workplace.

Develop a project management plan
Project management plan can be describe as a framework for conducting all activities of
project in effective and efficient manner. This plan is very useful in completing all task on time
as well as carry out all activities in best possible manner (Bell and Harrison, 2018). It can be
define as a plan which is important in managing all activities of a plan. Project management plan
will help in predicting time duration that is required to complete all task of project. It will define

goals and deliverables of the project as well as it includes cost, quality, time, duration,
communication, risk and scope of the project.
Cost- This includes the amount of money that will be required by researcher to complete
this research project. In order to conduct and effective research, researcher needs to
identify how much cost will be required to effectively conduct all task. Cost is very
important for accomplishing desired results from the research project. For this research,
researcher will require approx £250 and for effectively completing this project £300 will
be required.
Resource- There are various resources which is required by researcher in order to
conduct as a successful research project. Resources such as financial resources, different
assets, management tools and analytical tools etc. These resources will help in achieving
desired objectives.
Time- It can be define as a time duration that is required to conduct all task in effective
manner. It is very important to select right set of time duration in order to complete all
task as well as achieving all desired results. For completing all activities of this research,
researcher will require approx 7 weeks of time frame. In order to completely finish this
project, approx 3 months of time duration will be required.
Quality- Quality can be define as a standard of research project. It is very important for
researcher to complete all task and activities with high quality in order to provide better
research project (Brown, 2013). Researcher have to collect various data and information
for conducting research project in most effective manner. It is essential that collected data
should be appropriate as well as accurate as per the requirement of research.
Risk- This is the component in project management plan which can affect research. It
includes all those negative factor that can have adverse effect on project. For this research
project researcher needs to collect information form various source. It include risk of
collect wrong and inappropriate data which can effect the whole research project. There
is huge risk involved of data and information while conducted this research project such
as wrong information. Strategies for managing the risk to that investigate needs to check
that quality of information collected by different sources.
Communication- This is one of the most important part of research and play a crucial
role in effective and efficient working of research project. For collecting information as

well as completing all activities of research in best possible manner, researcher needs to
communicate with different people in order to collect appropriate information. This is
very helpful in gathering right information as well as use it in correct manner to conduct
an effective and efficient research. Communication tools used by researcher is
questionnaire and so on.
Scope- It includes the future scope of the project. This research project is based on the
strategies that will help in dealing with the current issues of equality and diversity within
the workplace (Evans and Johnson, 2013). Scope of research will help in identifying what
will be the future of research project that helps in dealing with the issues. It is very
important to develop effective and efficient strategies that is beneficial in resolving
issues of sexual harassment as well as equality and diversity.
Develop work break down structure and Gantt chart
Work breakdown structure
This is a very important tool as it helps organisation in key projects and task to complete
in an effective manner. Work breakdown structure is a process which divide large and complex
task into small as well as manageable parts. It is in a form of tree hierarchical structure which
includes various steps to complete large project in effective and efficient manner. By breaking
large task into small part, it helps in enhancing productivity as well as achieving set targets and
goals. Work break down structure is an important tool which helps in creating independents task
which are easily measurable (Fageha and Aibinu, 2013). It lead to determining cost which is
required to complete each and every task. Through work break down structure tool researcher
can easily track the progress of the scheduled task.
