of globalisation over retail sector.
Objective
 To analysis the concept of globalisation in context to the retail sector.

 To identify various challenges associated with the factors like economic, cultural and
ethical that creates impact in case of globalisation in context to the Marks and Spencer
Company.
 To provide necessary recommendations to deal with the challenges of various factors

Literature Review
As per the view of Ball, Junemann and Santori, (2017) globalisation is all about
entertain to international market so that growth rate of company can be expended. Factors
like economic, cultural and ethical are the key factors that positively affect the company in
case of globalisation.
1.2 Project management plan
Cost
The cost of this project would be estimated amount to£ 5000 . This cost would include
travelling expenses, stationary, resource generation and all different stages. This is the overall
estimated cost which will be needed to invest in order to complete this research.
Scope

This research project has a broad scope. This would analysis factors like economic,
cultural and ethical that put positive impact over business functions of company in case of
globalisation. This research also address all key challenges that overcome the positive impact
these factors create over company in case of globalisation. This research would significantly
favours to all the multinational company and their management in order to conduct business
functions. All these globalised company can get a proper guidance to deal with all different
challenges associated with these factors and make out a good profitable business in
international market. This research would also support the multinational companies in order
to form proper planning to meet different business objectives.
Time
11weeks consumed for completing this research.
Quality
In order to conduct the research, researcher had limited amount of resources and time.
It becomes essential for the researcher to manage a good quality research consisted up with
all the essential facts and information related to the research topic (Alonso Alonso, 2017).
Researcher requires utilising the resources in the optimum manner so that best outcome out of
the research can be generated by researcher. This research would cover both primry and
secondary level of information that would improve the quality of this research. Researcher
has focused over sustaining the quality in research with the support of primary and secondary
socurces of information
Communication
Communication in context to this research would be accessed with the support of both
methods written and verbal. All the information that can be collected through verbal mode
than this would be use and all the confidential information and important information in
context to this research would collect in written format.
Documentation
This research would be presented in written format. Personal notes would be
maintained so that overall research objectives can meet. Weekly log book would also
maintain.

Risk
Elements like not meeting up the objectives with the support of various facts and
information researcher has collected over the research topic was a big risk in this project.

Resources like print media, books, journals, internet, financial resources and
information of other researcher wuld also be use as resource in this project. All these

Research Methodology
Research Type:Research type indicates about the type of research, researcher is approaching
for achieving the overall objectives behind the research paper. Research can be segregated
into two types qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative type of research contains all different
qualitative information and facts. All information that involves theories, theoretical models,
strategies and other theoretical form of information are used in case of qualitative type of
research. In case of theoretical type of research specific statistical information also use to
achieve the overall objectives of research (Cam and Palaz, 2016). Quantitative type of
research comprises with only statics facts and information related to the research topic.Tools
like SPSS are used in this research type. The current research has used the qualitative type of
research as the information needed for doing this research also involve the models, theories
and different other factors that would support the researcher in achieving the overall
objectives of research.
Research Philosophy: Research philosophy is all about the concepts and philosophy of
research.Research philosophies consist up with two types positivism and interpretive.
Positivism philosophy involves conducting research based on the available facts and
information (Zhang, 2017). Interpretive philosophy is all about interpretations. Interpretive
philosophy involves concluding the research based on the interpretations over the research
topic.This research has used positivism philosophy of research.
