globalisation on operational activities of multinational companies.”
INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is refers as a process through which organisation starts its operations of the
enterprise at global level. It aids firm to develop their international influence for operating the
business organisations successfully into new market (Chen, Kang and Lee, 2017). The the main
reason of globalisation is attracting global financing, obtaining multinational goods and services
as well as maximising trade. For the report the give company is H&M which is a leading
Swedish multinational clothing retail firm. It headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden. The purpose
of this report is to develop the project aims and objectives. Prepare a project management plan,
work breakdown structures and Gantt chart. Methods of the research as well as analysis research
and data with te use of appropriate tools. Recommendations and value of undertaking research as
per own learning and performance are also mentioned in this report.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
H&M is stands for Hennes & Mauritz, it is the fastest growing multinational clothing
retail firm known for their fast fashion clothing for teenagers, women, children and men (Farok
and Garcia, 2016). This is the associated organisations that operates in various countries like
Spain, Italy, Poland etc. and having approx 4950 stores within whole world.
AIM:
“To identify the positive economic, cultural and ethical impact of
globalisation on operational activities of multinational companies.”
OBJECTIVES:
To understand the importance of globalisation for retail industry.
To identify the positive impact of economic, cultural and ethical on
H&M.
To analyse the challenges faced by H&M due to globalisation.

Project management plan help project manager to accomplish the objectives of the
project in successful way. For project succession, its manager need to prepare a effectual plan for
specific project. It included some aspects that will useful for H&M to accomplish the research
process effectively. All the aspects are explained below:
Cost: For accomplishing a project, the project manager of H&M required to view few
important project factors (Fleming and Koppelman, 2016). Cost is the considered as a crucial
aspects of project. So respective company project manage divide the total cost in following
manner: Direct cost : Raw material, production, labour etc.
Indirect cost: Administrative, funding and marketing, office space and so on.
Therefore, the estimated cost needed for this project is the first concern of H&M
manager so the approximated cost are mentioned below:

research quality in order to obtain effective results (Heagney, 2016). In case H&M project
manager maintain quality it may capable to find out the globalisation impact on its firm and at
various department. The techniques utilise through selected firm for production as well as
promotion should be of good quality.
Communication: H&M project manager utilise mobile technology for the
communicating with one another in effectual way. This types of technology can be use in email,
