In this report Zara is launching a brand-new summer shoe to compete withits rival brands. For this purpose, aims and objectives are established for the project which isbased on the scenario, an appropriate project management plan is produced which will help inmeeting objectives of an organisation. Globalisation has become an important concept for students in order to understandand appreciate because of its demand in business and industry (Asshidin, Abidin and Borhan,2016). This topic has been chosen because importance of globalisation is growing and has a hugeimpact on every industry. Research on globalisation will help in understanding contemporaryinvolvement of political economy which forms an important part of global business and have animpact on business. Research on globalisation helps to understand its impact on global economyand global business and how has is it shaping a business in present and for future. Zara islaunching a new product summer shoe which has to be launched at London fashion week whichwill take place on 16 to 20 February 2019, for this purpose research is conducted which will helpa Product Design Manager in designing, manufacturing, launching and selling a new productbrand of Zara. .P2 PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLANProject management plan is document which helps in managing and execution of aproject. With the help of a Project Management Plan actions which are necessary to prepare,define, coordinate and integrate various planning activities are documented. A projectmanagement plan of Zara launching a new product is:Cost:It forms an essential part of a research i.e. an estimate of a cost incurred in the researchproject a cost that will incur in the research project is£4000 approximately. Cost for developingand launching of new product of Zara would be£20,000.2
Quality:Quality plays an important role in research and new product development. Data shouldbe collected from reliable sources with authenticity which will help in making research moreaccurate and qualitative.Also, the quality of raw material has to be maintained by theorganisation by setting the standards of quality.Resources:Resources forms an important part of research, so it is important to choose and makeuse of appropriate resources for research which will help in making the research morequalitative.Communication:Communication also plays an important role in the research a propercommunication should be maintained between the members involved in the research (Waterman,2016). A proper mode and method of communications should be selected during research.Risk:There is a risk of failure of implementing the actual strategy formulated this will result inthe loss as huge amount of money is invested in a project.
