Introduction
Research methodologies are identified a significant part of research because this
methodologies and its elements help researcher in achieving its pre determined goals. The main
objective and aim of researcher of this research is to identify and analyse the positive economic,
cultural and ethical impacts of globalisation on the operation functions. Researcher also want to
make the accurate decisions after collecting all the informations and data and this methodologies
makes it able to collect authentic data (Kumar, 2019). It includes research approaches, designs,
types, data analysis, sampling & ethical consideration. There are various types of research and
researcher decide that what type of methodologies will be appropriate for its research.
Research type
Research can be defined as the creation of new knowledge and a careful consideration of

qualitative and quantitate. Qualitative research is a procedure that rely on the numeric figures
and quantities. This type of research helps researcher in depth understanding about a particular
topic and its issues. It includes one to one interview, Group interviews and focus group, text
analysis etc. On the other hand quantitative research type is heavily based on feelings, words and
emotions (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault, 2015). It involves a large population and a part of a
population and researcher ask closed ended questions from their candidates. This present
research's type is qualitative research because in this type, researcher has taken opinion and
views of their participants as 20 employees.
Research approach
Research approach can be defined as a a procedure & a plan that are being divided in
mainly 3 types such as inductive, deductive and abductive research approach. It is essential for
researcher to choose and select the best research approach for making their research successful
and to gather relevant data more effectively. Deductive type of approach is aimed and testing
theory. It is also important and beneficial as researcher starts the process by considering pas t as
well as present theories that are related and concerned with the topic of the research. Whereas,
inductive research approach that starts with the observation in which researcher begins to gather
data and informations that is relevant and authentic to his/her particular topic (Bresler and Stake,
2017). For this present research, researcher has selected inductive approach of research because
this study is based on qualitative research. With the help of choosing this approach and the type
of research, researcher can make himself able to effectively determine & identify the positive
economic, cultural and ethical impacts of globalisation on the operation functions.
Research design
Research design refers a framework and model that are being selected by researcher.
There are various elements included in this study and research so it is important to combine all
the elements in a reasoning manner and for that research design help them. It has 4 research
designs such as semi-experimental, experimental, correlational and descriptive. Descriptive
research design is the best design in qualitative type of research as it does not influence
participants in any manner. So researcher has also selected this descriptive design in order to
determine the positive ethical, economic and cultural impacts of globalization on the operational
functions in an accurate manner (Alvesson and Sköldberg, 2017).

Sampling
Sampling also play an important role and a part of research. Sampling means to select a
small part of the total population. It is not possible for researcher to take views and opinion of all
type of people and population so they sample and select a small part. Sampling is an effective as
it saves researcher's time, energy as well as cost. So it is important to select a small part of
population in order to make convenient research. It has mainly two types of sampling such as
probabilistic & non probabilistic. For this research, scholar has used probabilistic sampling and
has selected 20 employees (Kolk, 2016). The main aim of researcher of selecting this sampling
is to provide the equal chance and opportunity to its selected random employees of giving and
sharing their views for the research.
Data collection
Data collection is a crucial part of whole research as without collecting data and
informations it is not possible for researcher to achieve their objectives and aim (Edmonds and
Kennedy, 2016). Data collection is a procedure of gathering relevant informations via sampling
and from all relevant sources. The main purpose of collecting data and informations is to find the
answers of all questions and issues related to the research and make it authentic. There are
mainly 2 methods of data collection which are known as primary data and secondary data
collection. Primary data refers those informations which are not being used before and are fresh
for example, questionnaires, survey etc. On the other hand secondary data is just opposite of
primary data because this type of data and source are authentic and used data. Example of
secondary data sources, books & journals, internet, articles etc. For this present research, scholar
has used both primary and secondary data in order to make its research authentic and for making
the best decisions (Chambers, 2017). By using both data sources it can easily achieve its aim
which is to analyse and determine the positive ethical and environmental impacts of globalisation
on its operational functions.
Data analysis
It is not on;y important to collect data but also important to analyse it for taking the right
decisions and find out the errors and factors that can impact on it. After collecting data from
different sources, researcher inspect and mould data and informations because it is not always
possible and necessary that data will, be right. So proper analysis is very important. Qualitative

There are
mainly 2 methods of data collection which are known as primary data and secondary data

easily understand the factors and impacts of ethical, environmental and cultural of globalization
on its operational functions via graphs, tables and charts.
Ethical consideration
Ethics are moral principles and norms that helps an individual in order to identify and
distinguish between wrong and right. For making research successful it is important for them to
have the proper knowledge and importance about ethics to researcher (Pigeot and et.al., 2019).
With the help of ethics and ethical consideration, scholar can easily identify the difference
between acceptable and unacceptable. It can directly help them in achieving their all objectives
and make accurate decisions. Here is the list of ethics that are required to be considered by
researcher while making research:
No participant will be forced to participate in the present research and study and give the
right to leave the sample whenever they want.
It is mandatory to maintain respect and dignity of respondents.
Communication should be done with transparency and honesty.
The level of confidentiality need to be adequate.
Privacy and protection of data of employees and people need to be secure and it should
be ensured by the researcher.

From this present research and study, I have learned many new things which can become
very helpful for me as it can help me out in increasing my skills and knowledge regarding
globalization and its positive impact. I have learned that how to analyse and determines factors
that affect the operational functions. There are different types of research, data analyse, research
approach, methods of collecting informations, sampling and the importance of ethics. All theses
things can help me in the future in making and doing all the research successful with effectively.
I also found out that different types of people have different views and opinion regarding
one thing. While formulating aims and objectives, I was thinking differently but then I came to
know that the best result of research can be obtained by narrowing the research aims &
objectives. There are various strategies, methods and steps required in achieving the main pre
determined aim and objectives.
For the further research I took help of research methodologies at initial stage I found
some difficulties but then it felt interesting. Questionnaires and reviews from employees took a
lot of time in whole research as they told different things related to my questions. I knew that the
outcomes and conclusion will based on the type of research methodologies so I gave my best and
selected the best methodology which supported me in making the research successfully.
Selection of methodologies was quite difficult as for that I evaluated all methodologies and after
evaluation I took and selected the best methodologies according to the my topic.
I also understood the different views of employees regarding the positive impacts of
economic, ethical and environmental of globalization on operational functions. It was my
amazing experience as I learned so many new things from this research. Now I can easily

that affect the operational functions.
Now I can easily
develop and research about any type of topic related to globalisation in an effective manner.
