Furthermore the present study will be based on theterm globalisation where it explains about the positive impact of ethical, political and economicimpact of globalisation on the operation function of John Lewis. It is the leading chain of highend department stores operating throughout the UK. Furthermore, Research will outline theconcept or factor affecting terms of globalisation that might increase the smoothly operationfunctional goals. However, the study also outline the research methodologies along withqualitative and quantitative techniques. At the end of the section report also analysis thecollected data by the help qualitative research technique. LO 1P1 Devise the aims and objectives for a chosen scenarioBackground In general terms, Globalisation has both an emotional and factual terms. In other words,globalisation has been given both positive and negative impact on the business functions indifferent manner. Globalisation impact operation strategies in both negative and positive ways.For example there are so many global factors which company uses for its own operationalfunctions such as economies of scale, scanning, global sourcing and R&D. So these factors ofglobalisation gives the positive impact to the John Lewis business. Positive economic impact ofglobalisation is increasing the productivity of business.
