Title: “To analyse equality and diversity in the workplace. A case study of Tesco” INTRODUCTION Diversity in the workplace brings multiple opportunity in the businesses through which they can get success in their business sector. From past few years most of the companies investing high funds to retain diversity in the workplace so that they can get fringe of benefits on their business’s operation (Ausserer, Kaufmann and Risser, 2016). Generally, management plays effective role in managing equality and diversity in the workplace because managers implement such policies i.e. fairness in decision-making process, promotional policies etc. which builds trustworthy relationship between employer and employees. However, most of the companies have failed to maintain diversity in the workplace due to crisis i.e. communication barrier, inequality, pay structure etc. as resulted unable to gain positive impact from this initiative. In this research project will cover all such factors which demonstrates issues of equality and diversity in the workplace. There are various innovative data collection methods will use for finding different data which will be included in this report. This research topic is essential to be discussed and evaluated, because this can support companies for deeply understanding the actual value of equality and diversity and fair policies in the workplace. Lots of efforts requires to complete this research assignment successfully. Background: Tesco plc is a British Multinational and merchandise retailer company which is headquartered in UK and offers it’s product and services across the world. It has established strong global presence in it’s sector. This report will include aims and objectives of the research in the context of Tesco plc. To recommend tactics that can ensure Tesco to develop diversified workplace which certifies equality for all staff. Research Questions What do you mean by equality and diversity at the workplace? What are the issues of diversity that faces by employees in the Tesco plc? How do you access policies that can ensure company to resolve issues related to equality and diversity at the workplace? What are the Tesco’s strategies that can demote discrimination in the workplace? What are recommended tactics that can support Tesco to create diversified workplace and maintains equality for all employees? P2 Project management plan Project management plan is basically an elaborate procedure where various attributes which are relating with the completion of different activities of a research project (Owens and Patel, 2019). The plan has helped here in finding many of aspects, like; required resources, time scale, budget and cost etc. In this existing research project, the plan of project management has created in following way; Cost Cost generally projects whole amount which a researcher has required for completing research project satisfactorily. On the other side, budget which the business develops in the terms of implementing various findings of research project. Existing research project has required over £2200 for covering various activities under research. Additional £39000 has required for employing changes within Tesco.

LO4 P7 Reflection Based on the research assignment, I have learned that it is very important for knowing and understanding those all such factors which can help organization to improve it’s productivity and efficiency in the market effectively. While making this project I gain lots of knowledge numerous strategies which can be applied for conducting research and improve database for taking right decisions. This project also supported to increase my skills for collecting relevant information through technologies. There is extensive type research analysis for identifying competitiveness of the business. I also learned that, an effective communication is crucial in creating and understanding research data and explores effective strategies or tactics for gaining final objectives in effective manner. However, at initial stage I was unable to understand different strategies and techniques which are used for influencing potential of the company and supports them for sustaining in the retail market. I gained abilities and knowledge that improved my personality in order to become effective or ideal leader and also increase my potential to make and take appropriate decision effectively. As I know productive strategies will support company’s growth in globalization and other change factors but effective research over the various market segments can help business to improve level of customer satisfaction as well as supports to stay long run by decreasing operational cost for effectively achieving higher profit margin (Sarvaiya and Eweje, 2016).
