INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity can be termed out as “Equal opportunities”. This is defined as
legal obligation that aids to protect against the discrimination (Bowl, 2018). In enterprises, it is
crucial to ensure that individuals are not treated differently or less favourably on the basis of
person's sex, gender, sexual orientation, belief and race etc. Therefore, equity is treating
everyone in fairly and equitable manner at workplace. Diversity can be defined as king account
of differences between people and group of individual and to place a positive value on those
differences.
The present report is based on to determine the impact of equality and diversity on
profitability and profitability to enterprise. Henceforth, the chosen enterprise is as Sainsbury's,
This is second largest retail chain of supermarket in United Kingdom and deals in grocery
services.
Therefore, report will lay emphasise on activities as to outline the aims and objective on
the basis of given topic. Research methods will be selected on the basis of suitability of research
report. Furthermore, study will conduct data analysis with use of primary approach to gather first
hand information. Lastly, recommendation will be given to promote equality and diversity in
workplace.

management plan along with work breakdown structure.

Equality opportunity defined as each individual in enterprise must have equal chance to
take up opportunities. In UK, firms are taking initiatives to follow the practices that aids to
eliminate discrimination and offer fair treatment to all individuals. On the other and, diversity
means giving each individual chance to accomplish their potential, free from prejudice and
discrimination (Dennissen, Benschop, and van den Brink, 2019). This both are crucial term as
this aids to maximise the organisations profitability and productivity. With help of providing the

effective training facilities can be a powerful technique to promote diversity and equality in the
workplace.
The main aim of equality and diversity is to ensure that everyone within the enterprise
has access the same opportunities and fair treatment. Thus, one of the main advancement of
diversity within the workplace is to promote innovation. On the other hand, equality in the
enterprise assists to improves the brand reputation. Additionally, this can be stated that more
diversified workforce has wider pool of experience that is very effective in terms to tackling
issues and create opportunities.
Thus, inclusive learning is also one of the beneficial aspect that can helps to promote
equality and diversity at workplace. Henceforth, the enterprise must have goal to develop
inclusive programme that aids to bring out the people together with help of different experience
and backgrounds (Potvin and Heap, 2018). Moreover, aims and objectives will be given on the

the well defined structure and procedure to achieve desired outcomes. Project management plan
is defined as document that helps to define each phase of project. However, it is inclusive of
components as initiation, planning, executing, controlling and monitoring. PMP is termed out as
formal and approved document that aids to manage the project implementation to accomplish
desired goals. Henceforth, this defined in below manner as are-
Project scope- This is defined as initial plan that is inclusive of determining and documenting
the list towards goals, task, deliverables and deadlines to project activities. This is aids to
accomplish the project and defines work that must be done to deliver the project. Thus, present

aim of report is to determine impact of Equality and diversity on workplace profitability and
productivity.
Cost- It is termed out as cost that incurred to carry out the research report successfully. This can
be measured out by the research staff to estimate the total cost relate with research report. It will
be done by project manager and with help of proper execution of research report the total cost to
