Topic- To identify contribution of equality and diversity to organizational
success. With reference to case study of Tesco.
INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity termed out as promoting equal opportunity to all, through diversity
each individual can get chance to achieve prospective advancmernt and set them free from any
differences and prejudice. Thus, equality aids to be ensured everybody about the equal
opportunity and not treated any individual on basis of difference and discrimination (Thompson,
2016). Additionally, diversity termed out as to evaluate the understanding, recognizing and
accepting difference irrespective of the age, sexual orientation, physical ability, class, ethnicity
and spiritual practices and so on. Diverse workforce increasingly recognized as improving the
performance and aids to gain competitive advantage (Greene, 2019).
Henceforth, study will identify the contribution of equality and diversity to success of
organization as Tesco. It is British leading supermarket chain that engaged in providing grocery
product and service.
Furthermore, report will lay emphasize as devising aim and objectives on given theme of
Equality and diversity. Thus, effective research method will be selected to conduct the entire
research study effectively. Therefore, project management plan will be produce that cover cost,
object of the study, time, communication and resources activities. Lastly, reflection will be
undertaken to determine the undertaking on the research to meet out the stated objectives.

The study is based on to evaluate the outcome of contribution of equality and diversity to
organizational success. Diversity is one of crucial component as there are many positive aspects
such as exchange of idea due to diverse culture of employees and the development of friendship
without discrimination (Thompson, 2017). Additionally, existence of workplace diversity within
enterprise indicates the workplace is heterogeneous in term of gender, ethnicity and race that
possess distinct qualities and elements that support to differ from one another. Henceforth, the
equality and diversity is mainly used for 'Equal Opportunities'. Thus, diversity management
focused on assumption that diverse the segments that can create innovative techniques of

working together and that more, productivity will automatically enhance (Burr and Leung,
2015). The aims and objective will be outlined in below contexted manner as-
Aim-
The aim of report is “ To analyze how Equality and diversity contribute success toward
performance in organization. A study on Tesco.
Objectives-
To articulate evolution of workforce diversity.
To determine benefits and limitation of equality and diversity in Tesco.
To identify significant tools for managing workplace diversity to gain competitive
advancement.
To recommend suggestive measures that aids to promote the equality and diversity in
workplace.

PMP defined as foresee and predict issues and to plan, organize and control activities so
that project can be completed effectively. It is termed out as formal, approved document that
assists in systematically execution of project activities. Thus, PMP will be defined in below
contexted manner as are-
Project scope- The study is based on to highlight on Topic as equality and diversity to promote
organization success. In the initial phase of PMP process, this is crucial to determine the success
of the project for the project manager to arrange funds to fund the project, setup communication
that plays vital role between the stakeholders (Potvin and et.al., 2018). At this step, the major
deliverables will be identified that aids to accomplish the object of research.
Cost- At this level, project manager will estimate the cost that will incurred to complete the
project. This allows business to assume the expenses to decrease the chances to estimated
budget. Thus, cost of the assignment will be estimated during plaaning stages of assignement.
Henceforth, the estimation of project is $50000.
Resources- In order to accomplish the project the resources are must be identified so that aim of
project can accomplished. Thus, resources as man, labour, capital etc. must be decided to
accomplish the entire project successfully. Henceforth, project team is inclusive of project
manager, project amassment team and other members of project that aids to accomplish the
project effectively (Sharma, 2016).

Quality- At this phase the whole project activities will be framed to ensure about to design, plan
and implement project management activities to have effectual and efficient project plan in order
to gain the purpose of objective and performance. Thus, project management mainly focus over
three key quality management concepts such as satisfaction of consumer, restraint over
inspection and to undertake continual improvement.
Communication- A this phase, project manager put their focus on communication between,
their team members. Therefore, it can be stated that communication is one of the crucial factor
that helps to carry out the project successfully. Thus, improving communication maximizes the
success and minimize the risk to the project. Additionally project communication management
plays vital role to keep all the member of project team on the same stage. Effective
communication between the team member helps to undertake the whole research in reliable and
effective manner (Klarsfeld and et.al., 2016).
Risk- at this phase, project manager take initiatives to minimize the potential problems that can
impact the project timetable. It is thing that aids to reduce the negative impact on the project.
Therefore, risk analysis and project management practices assist to ensure about the success to
project. Henceforth, this can be stated that risk is defined as inevitable in business organization
as this aids to have undertaking in the research project.
Time- At this phase, one particular deadline to each task must be given. Thus, good time
management aids to enhance the effectiveness and productivity to the research report. Therefore,
one of the vital key aspect of project management is to accomplish the project management
activities with setting goals and to prioritizing the task activities (Ashe and Nazroo, 2017).
