INTRODUCTION Employees or individuals are most important asset of an organisation that is leading management to complete their project in an appropriate manner. In the present scenario, most of organisation manage diverse workforce for performing their functions at global level. Sainsbury is selected company for this report which is a retail enterprise and performs their work in international market(Abankina and et. al., 2016). The issue of equality and diverse workforce relates with socio-culture issue, performance appraisal of employees for solving conflicts between diverse workforce. Moreover, this report focus on aim, objective and plan related with the topic of equality and diversity. Gantt chart and WBS tools to manage work with schedule or time frame will also include in this report. In the last, research methods and the reflection on project value is highlight in the upcoming report. TASK 1 Aim and objective Retail industry is increasing their business constantly by fulfilling customer needs and wants on daily basis. On the other side, Globalisation is impacting on company operations due to which its business size is directly impacted. Therefore, team management is an important factor that is leading company for selecting and engaging right individuals in organisation operations. Along with this it is also leads Sainsbury for implementing diverse and equality workforce in internal department of organisation(Bender, Klarsfeld and Laufer, 2014). Project management-The term project management is defined as an application of methods, knowledge skill and processes which is used by organisation for accomplishing specific project with obtaining desired results from project operations.
Key stages of project management-Project are designed by company to complete work in an organised manner. This also refers there are five phase of project management are included by Sainsbury which are initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing of project which all are motivated towards completing of organisation project in a professional manner. Advantages of project management ï‚·Improve in productivity-The main motive of project management is to complete all task with decided plan. It is beneficial for organisation to work with project management because it helps to perform work in minimum time period and also reduce cost by reducing unnecessary steps with use of planning. ï‚·Improve collaboration-By relating all operations with project structure and the engaged workforce it is easy for organisation to complete all task in proper manner. Along with this it also raise understanding about retail companies that leads to overcome from the impact of diverse policy in organisation. In the case that is related with aptitudes, analytic capacity and dynamic environment conditions generate challenge to complete project in an appropriate manner.
