INTRODUCTION Talent Management is an essential procedure which revolves around the fact of making the best use of present talents within the organisation and retaining them for the longest period with the firm. The singular agenda of talent management is to keep their company competitive with getting hold of most potential staff. Talent management phenomena have been placed on the top priority list of organisations and the role of human resource departments within them. The key aspects of it is keeping the talents of company attached to it and attracting other talents as well from the external environment (Chemutai, 2020). This research project is made over Amazon and the Talent management concept in its context. The research report will cover number of areas, beginning with the aims and objectives are discussed and continued with the project management plan. The research report also, made analysis and discussion over the research methodologiesandtechniquesusedintheassignmentfordrawingandextractingvalid conclusions. TASK A Overview of the Amazon Amazon is one of the leading technology company, it is an American company based in Seattle, Washington. The company was founded in 1994 by its leader Jeff Bezos and it is headquartered in Washington, United States. Amazon serves to worldwide customers, focusing on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial intelligence (AI). Thus, the company has a wide product portfolio and hold a wide area of distribution around the globe with a huge market share. Amazon is determined under the big five technology companies in the United States technology industry and the other four of its competitors are Apple, Google, Microsoft and Facebook. Aim and objectives Project aim:Main aim of this project is “To identify the significance of talent management in reduction of high employee turnover at workplace”. A study on Amazon Project Objectives To determine the significance of talent management at workplace of Amazon. To explore ways that will be use by Amazon for managing talent at workplace. 3
To examine the issues faced by Amazon because of high employee turnover at their workplace. To evaluate relationship between talent management and reduction of high employee turnover. Project management plan Project basically refers to an analysis or study that is taken with an aim of accomplishing specific result. Every projects carry its own goals and objectives. Project management is referred as an application of methods and research to achieve desired goals. It has a specified result that is constrained with proper deliverables which is to be performed with in a specific period of time. Various stages of project management are initiation stage, planning, execution, monitoring and closurestage(Gair,2018).Accordingtothisresearchproject,elementsareofproject management which researcher needs are as follows: Cost:It is referred as incurred expenses and expenditures for carrying up a project. To carry a project smoothly with effectiveness it is essential to have a proper allocation of funds and project projection to carry its study (Pearce and et. al., 2019). By having a proper and specific budget, actions plans are planned and implemented according to that. The required amount to carry up this project required budget would be £800. Scope:It basically consists of functions and features of a project which is required to meet research objectives. Scope refers to an area that supports project to where it will be taken to accomplish its aims. By having a proper well planned objective, time and optimum resources scope of research projects could be determined. It generally involves elements of goals, operations, actions plan which is to be implemented, and processes thatisrequiredtocarryupstudyofthisresearchproject.Byhavingaproper understanding of scope a proper image of project is maintained and according to that activities and operations are planned that fulfils scope of project (Hasani Ahmadiyeh, Manzari Tavakoli and Salajegheh, 2020). To carry out this research project effectively it is essential to have proficient and skilled staff. As timeline consists of several process that require a proper and specific time to find analyse results of study. It is important to planned a timescale period for taking up this project effectively (Pocztowski, Pauli and Miś, 2020). For this a decided timescale plan is to be identified for completing each activity for study. Timescale to carry up this research project is planned to be 3 months that is required to find results and analyse conclusion of this project. Quality:It refers to quality delivered to work which is to be conducted and considered in a well quality format. It is important to carry up any project study with a quality content so that objectives of study and its conclusion could be easily understood and evaluated. When there is lack of communication it may create a negative impact on efficiency of project management, so for that is essential to have a proper communication medium to be used while taking up any study and for that a regular feedback approach is to be followed (King and Vaiman, 2020). It consists of inputs and outputs from subordinates. A regular and continuous updates is to be maintained. For carrying up this research smoothly, researcher is required to be in communication with supervisors, employees and as well as public. Risk:It is said to be a negative aspect that affects project, when they are not determined at starting of study. Risks factors requires to be identified prior while taking up study and a backup plan to deal with that risk factors is considered to be a part of performing research smoothly (Krishnan and et. al., 2020). Project should require a part of all backup plans with every risks determined and risks factors that are not determined or projected can affect progress of research project so for that all risks factors are to be addressed properly. 5
Resources:It refers to support which is required to complete project. A resource plan is required to be designed and developed prior and should be communicated well. For that a resource schedule should be created and allocated for performing research project smoothly and effectively (Swailes, 2020). Resources may be related to machines, labour and other resources. It is important to use resource effectively to maximize efficiency of project. For carrying up this research project effectively, researcher is required to have a proper workforce team that have communication and leadership skills. Work breakdown structure Work breakdown structure is an effective tool of taking up operations of projects. As activities are broken down into small tasks for accomplishing a specified task. It refers to a method of determining and breaking it into tasks for increasing performance (Kumar and Budhwar, 2020). It generally divides activities that is based on same nature and to monitor its progress in a specified manner. Gantt chart It is taken as a basis for timeline of project. Gantt chart is divided sides where left side identifies project activities and top side shows time frame of project. Length of charts that relates activity's time chart of completing activity. It is a pictorial representation that makes easy to evaluate progress of project and beneficial for analysing activities (Wangechi, Koome and Gesimba, 2020). 6

Research philosophy: There are two main philosophies within a project such as positivism and interpretivisim. These are main philosophies but according to the current project, positivism philosophy is essential that will be adopted by project manager. With the help of my knowledge and skills I got huge benefits when I was working within this research and I was also analysing the conceptsof talent-management in the background of Amazon. The field of research is major area of my interest due to which whole the time I was motivated and kept on doing the research effectively. My knowledge and understanding within this section helped me to grab appropriate understanding and choices through which best methods and techniques were used within research. Some of the evidences and information helped me to reach out to an appropriate conclusion which may lead the overall succession within project. The project was related to talent-management and its suitability to attaining goals and objectives of the research. Besides this knowledge regarding different strategies that can be used within talent-management has also gained. The data collection method used within this research is secondary source and in that literature review method was used. Afterwards, I have covered are of primary research by undertaking questionnaire method. The questionnaire was given to employees of Amazon and questions related to talent-management was asked to them in order to draw appropriate conclusion. Besides this I was associated with studies during this research so there are numerous skills which were developed and helped me throughout the journey of project manager. I am highly effective in rendering communication due to which information was collected by me in effective manner and I established oral communication as well.The results were derived through numerical data and drawing interpretation as well. Some of the weaknesses which I have analysed that are becoming reason of hindrance of my research. These skills are creativity skills and presentation skills are the most prominent skills on which I am required to work. This is due to the reason that at some point of time innovation and creativity are the major aspects which are required and due to lacking within these skills I was not able to innovate ideas.
