Moreover, certain challenges that will be faced by the Sainsbury in managing diversity will also be explained. Lastly, certain characteristics of the Scientific Management theory will also be discussed in detail. QUESTION -1 Why is it important for Business Organizations to manage the diversities among their staff? In recent times when most of the business are operating on the global levels there is diversity in the workplace that needs to be managed effectively so that certain goals might be achieved efficiently. Also, such diversities within the workplace brings various skills at one particular place that helps in greater team building and enhanced cooperation within individuals having certaindifferences. Furthermore, in recent timesit is major responsibilityof top managementofvariousorganizationtomanagediverseteamsthroughidentifyingeach individual strength and potential they bring at the workplace. Moreover, it is important for business organization to manage diversities so that positive work culture might be developed and greater success might be achieved (5 Benefits of Diversity in the Workplace,2022). Also, through establishing proper management among diverse workforce organizations are able to increase the workplace productivity so that higher efficiency and effectiveness might be achieved for the future. Moreover, those organizations that are aiming to maintain competitive advantage and are focused on expanding business into new areas need to properly manage and assign duties to diverse staff working at different levels' so that greater innovations and creativity might be promoted within the business. Also, through diverse workforce companies have option of collecting and analysing various solutions for one business problem so that best decision and outcome might be achieved in the end (Goni and et.al., 2021). Furthermore, management of diverse workforce helps in improving the company culture so that right attitude and behaviour among the employees might be cultivated that will further help in reducing the conflicts within the workplace and help in building stronger relationships in the future. Moreover, diversity at the workplace have its own benefits as diverse workforce means there would be improved customer satisfaction in various regions and hence organizations need
to focus on identifying diverse employees needs so that business is able to sustain and run in target market for longer duration and remain competitive against some of its competitors. Discussing the challenges which Sainsbury Supermarket faces for managing the diversity among their employees Diversity management is defines as the process of creating positive surrounding for employees. This helps in maximizing the profits of the company by inclusive involving employees in decision-making and supports in achieving goals of th organization. The lack of diverse management in workplace creates and increases the employees turnover and reduce the performance. Various challenges faced by the Sainsbury company for managing the diversity in the workplace are as follows: Lack of trust:The lack of trust by employees on higher level of employees for communicating and changing the processes among the company is as challenges for managing the diverse workforces in the company. Employing various individual with disability and potential skills. Thus, willingly accommodating and encouraging disable employees Is a challenge for the company for managing the diverse workplace conditions.

Also, it identifies the person within the workplace that is capable in doing such type of jobs (Jacobs, Johnson and Hassell, 2018). Furthermore, with proper identification top management than train and develop other employees along with providing the financial stimulation and centralizing responsibilities through the managers. Efficiency:Moreover, major feature of this theory is that it is more concerned over the efficiency of the employees through reducing chances of errors and assumption. Also, for enhancing the efficiency this theory states that every organization need to provide proper training timely so that employees are able to enhance the existing competencies to survive in changing business environments. Increasing the productivity:Also, it can be said that major focus of the scientific management theory was on increasing the productivity and reducing the waste within business workplace so that best result might be achieved (Moshiri and Cardon, 2019).Also, for this purpose it encourages the organization to identify the scientific techniques relating to method of work, recruitment and selection of the workers.
