In today's business world organisations are competing which creates an aggressive
competitive environment. In this leading and managing business is becoming most important in
which organisation is required to implement effective leadership and a positive workplace
culture to accomplish challenging goals (Raewf and Mahmood, 2021). Leading and managing is
becoming important for management as it helps in enhancing efficiency through which business
organisation can fulfil overall goals and vision in a well-defined and effective manner. Present
report identifies importance of business organisation to manage diversity among staff along with
a certain challenge that Sainsbury can face in the process of managing diversity among
employees. Along with this report include the reason behind scientific management theory is still
existing in several organisation.

advantage in any industrial sector it is essential for an organisation to diversify the workplace, as
will not only benefit business organisation to manage client, enhance brand management
effectiveness but also create additional value for organisation. It helps in attracting diverse
professional that drive innovation (Gonzalez and Simpson, 2021). Diversity is important as it
plays important role in promoting individuality in organisational workplace premises and
recognise every person creativity and new ideas. It has been evaluated that employee those who
have different experience and backgrounds have ability to enhance overall productivity of
organisation diversity it also helps in bringing diverse talent together to fulfil a common goal. It
is important for business organisation to manage diversity among staff as it effectively builds
strong brand which makes organisation more interesting and desirable employment area.
