 for encouraging and motivating the

Coercive style of leadership
 on those employees who were not
cooperating with other team members
thereby leading to conflicting situations.
 This style helped in bringing negative work
environment under control

EXPERIENCE
 I was satisfied the leadership styles
used by my manager.
 coaching leadership style assisted me in
working properly as a team member.

participation as a care worker.
 coercive style helped in managing the
conflicting situation that rose within the
team.

SUMMARY
 Usage of leadership style depends on the situation
present in the firm.
 ABC hospital was in need of affiliative, coaching
and democratic leadership style to enhance team
working.
 Coercive style was required to bring conflicts under
control
 Transformational style was needed to generate a
vision and purpose for the team members.
 Many barriers to maintain successful relations in
ABC hospital - conflicts, Lack of leadership skills
and organizational purpose; Poor communication.
 These can be worked upon by use of john Adair
model of effective team building.

CONCLUSION
 Work force in an organization can be
managed by adopting leadership
strategies and working as a leader than
as a manager.
 Barriers may affect the overall working
but these can be managed by use of
effective team building strategy.
