INTRODUCTIONHuman Resource Management play a significant role in fulfilling the workforce andmanaging their performance level so as to gain maximum efforts in achievement oforganisational goals and objectives. Employees are a incredible asset of every organisationirrespective of the sector whether engaged in retail, manufacturing or service sector whosecontribution the growth and success of company depends. Therefore, it is more important for HRdepartment to perform its several functions such as recruitment and selection, performanceappraisal, training and development programs etc. The present assignment report is based on thecase study of St-Margaret's nursing home which is engaged in heath and social care located inLondon. It tries to develop its staff through adopting HR practices at workplace such asrecruitment and selection training sessions, leadership theories, performance evaluation plan etc.TASK 11.1: Factors related to the recruitment planning in HSCHealth and social care sector is a provision of health and social work activities performedby trained medical professionals in order to maintain health of an individual and society as awhole. To provide better health and social care services, St-Margaret's nursing home requires tohave socialised skills and knowledgable staff which is possible by getting support from HRdepartment in form of conducting recruitment programs and selection in an effective way. Recruitment is conducted on the basis of information related with future needs and wantsof organisation which is collected through making reliable research (Baggett and et. al., 2010).There are many aspects which need to be considered while conducting recruitment process someof which are listed as under:Firstly, St-Margaret's need to decide which type of staff they required to recruit in theirhealth and social care homes.Secondly, it required to select an effective systems in order to evaluate the performancelevel of employees at workplace.Such two factors largely affected the staff keeping and to get attraction. St-Margaret'snursing some recruit staff with an expectation of gaining specialised skills and knowledgeableemployees so that they are much capable to meet the needs and wants of patients through servingthem better health care services. Their main is to maximise the satisfaction level of patients1
