INTRODUCTION
Managing people consists of the task of recruitment, management and providing ongoing support to
employees so that the efficiency of organization also increases.
Presentation will lay emphasis on how human resources are being managed in an aviation industry. Study
will also focus on Ryanair. It is an Irish Budget Airline which has been set up in the year 1984.
Company has been headquartered in Swords, Dublin Ireland. They also have various subsidiaries like
Ryanair UK, Ryanair Sun. Report will lay emphasis on different managerial roles on airlines and airports. It
will also present management styles that contribute in improving team performance.

Roles performed by manager in Ryanair
A manager performs various types of roles in Ryanair. It enables in them to manage staff and select them at
right position. Also, they monitor their performance so that tasks are properly done. In Ryanair manager role
are as follows :-
Providing training – It is main role performed by manager where they provide training to staff on basis of
their tasks. For this staff needs are identified and then accordingly training plan is developed. Through it,
they know how to complete task and what they have to do.
Assigning roles – the manager assign role to employees on basis of their skills and knowledge. It enables
manager to identify that in which operation what role will be specific. By this employees are allocated
duties, responsibilities, etc. they are given specific target as well.
