INTRODUCTION
Every business need to maintain effective organisational structure which can lead their
employees in right manner toward their job role and day to day operations. Management of the
organisation mainly concerned about the effective policies and procedure so that they can guide
their employees properly. Organisation can use various types of leadership style to motivate their
employees and also influence them so that they can easily improve their performance and
effectiveness and full fill all the organisational objectives. Through effective organisational
structure, organisation can easily maintain good discipline and provide direction to their team
members. For this report, Morrisons organisation is considered which is most popular British
supermarket chain that deal with retail industry. Morrisons operate their business all around the
world and satisfied people with their best services. The main purpose of this report is to
discussed about the leadership style and also compare it. This report also cover the organisational
structure & organisational culture and also analyse the relationship among the both structure and
culture. Moreover, this report discuss about the legal requirement about the equal opportunity
and its benefits.
MAIN BODY
It is necessary to focus on the leadership so that all the employees can effectively
increase the productivity of the employees. Through proper leadership, organisation can provide
effective guidelines so that their team members can work properly and improve their
effectiveness. Morrisons leaders can motivate their employees so that they can perform well.
There are various leadership style used by the Morrisons which are explained below-
Autocratic Leadership Style, it is considered as the most effective leadership style and
also considered as the effective management style (Betts, Easton-Calabria and Pincock, 2021).
This leadership style contain that one person have power to take decision and these type leaders
provide less information to their team members. Those decision which are taken by the
autocratic leaders are very valuable and they do not want any type of suggestion and advice from
their employees. This type of leaders can control their employees and provide them right
direction. This leadership style contain specific chain of command and help in decision making
of the leaders.
