INTRODUCTION Managing self is also known as self-management which means taking responsibility for one’s behavior and wellbeing. The most important aspect for employee is to manage one self so that they will be able to complete work on time. It also helps them in achieving objectives and goals of company on time Present study will lay emphasis on Travelodge. It is established in United Kingdom. It is a private company which is operating in hotel and hospitality industry. They have total of 40,846 hotels and bedrooms in the end of year 2016. Present study will PDP and SWOT analysis of one self. It will also highlight strategies for skill development and lifelong learning. Study will alsohighlight that how high performance people be developed by effective performance. Strength:- As a HR of the Travelodge, my strength is my connection in the market. I know which person is highly benefited for the lodge I am working for, so I have connection in every field every department in the market. My software skill is also my strength, I have good knowledge about all those software which are useful for making presentations, reports, or the chart, and all the software which are helpful for recruiting more employee for the company. Also my presentation skill is very appropriate, I can make the presentation more attractive by using chart, figures, table and bullets. Weakness:-My weakness is my communication skill. Like I am good in communication, but I got nervous if I have to speak in front of bunch of people. And hence my I feel nervous to speak in front of bunch of people I also get problems when it comes to team work. Due to lack of communication I am not being able to co-ordinate with my team members, which leads to misunderstanding in the project. Because a project require communication, without communication team members can't be able to make understand what exactly is the need of the task or the project. And because I am not being able to communicate and co-ordinate, it leads to poor team work. 3
Opportunity:-As a HR manager I require a very good sourcing and evaluating skill as the reason I am planning to attend the seminar and conference which is a very good opportunity for me to develop it as seminar will also include training also. Threats:-If I don't communicate with my co members and if I don't grab the opportunity then it'll result in threat for me in the industry (Kelly, 2016). Reflector:-Reflector are the one who are the keen observer. They are the one who just observe the things, and then act accordingly.
