INTRODUCTIONDigital technology came as revolution for the business organizations it changed the entireprocessing of the companies. Since its inception it has been seen that there are many thingswhich have altered and specifically in the business firms everything is started with a new andinnovative approach. Internet of things is one of the major innovation in digital technology thatconnected the devices with each other and established a system which effectively used tocommunicate and control activities in Softwire Company. The company is used used toprivately owned that provides software development, software consultancy and bespoke softwaresolutions in London. Its aim is to offer customer satisfaction on extreme level and therefore, thisreport comprises of aims and objects,. Project management plan, research with the finding andconclusion (Broekx and et. al., 2011). TASK 1P1. Identify the aims and objectivesIt is essential for an organization to predetermine aims and object in order to developmodern strategy that supports it to grow and attain the success in the market. To attain theprosperity innovation is required because until there is no innovation the firm cannot be run in anappropriate way. Internet of things is one of that technological advancement that assists inbusiness activities like operations, marketing, accounting, human resource management and soon. Softwire Company can attain its objectives through adopting the internet of things thatsupports in business functions with which establishes a connection among them with aneffective interaction. In order to attain the income and revenue the company put efforts todetermine the objectives that can be achieved by digital technology. Internet of things is a technology that can connect the company with its customer in aneffective way and it operations will also flow in a smooth way. Technology not only makes thework smooth but also responsible for generating profit and revenue for the business (Denzin andLincoln, 2011). Background of project As digital technology is revolving internet of things also moving towards the future. Itwas conceptualized from the industrial production where machine to machine communicationhelp to the manufacturing complexity. Business organizations are also adopting IOT to grow andattain the goals through maximizing the connectivity of operations and functions. It can also send

Project management plan is essential to identify the particular formatsthat are required to implement in different reports. Project management plan is described asbelow - Scope – There is a need to identify the scope of a project that delivers an appropriateoutput to the stakeholders. It can be simplify as the internet of things is innovating for the betterworking process of Softwire company (Geraldi and Lechter, 2012). So the employees and otherpeople like customers and investors can be satisfied with the successful implementation of IOTbecause this is implementing for them to stay connected and distribute the information among

Cost – Every projects needs some fund to initiate a project planning for execution.Softwire needs to prepare a budget plan that supports activities and functions in a systematicmanner. It is essential to determine the cost for Internet of Things before the plan begins as itassist to avoid the interruptions. If Softwire recognises the cost before the getting started then itwill be helpful for it as the deployment will not stop due to lack of funds. There are somespecific tools that can use to estimate the cost of IOT such as the Gantt chart, questionnaires anddata analysis (Hirshkowitz and et. Al, 2015). Quality – At the time of conducting market research it is essential to develop such kindof methods and techniques which can be used in effectual way. The research can be done withquality that gives some valuable outputs for Softwire company. The IOT deployment shouldmeet the quality outcomes that can raise the company profit. IoT should produce the quality thatis needed to improve the efficiency and the growth of a business. Risk – It can be seen that when there is a new idea or concept is implemented in the firmthen there is a certainty of risks. The risk can be occurred at any time and they can interfere inthe completion of the project. If Softwire does not have a plan to resolve the risks then it canimpact on implementation of IOT and that will develop the obstacles in the growth andprofitability. To avoid such restriction Softwire can follow the Gantt chart that will assist inreducing the issues and increasing the profit as well. Time – Softwire should estimate the time which required to complete the project. Timewill be estimated after collecting the reports from various departments that are working on theIOT. The major objective of the time is to recognise the duration which is needed to complete theproject. Communication – Softwire should establish an effective communication plan fromwhich the staff of the firm can interact in an effective way. To communicate frequently theyneeded to establish a communication channel that can be accessible in a less time (Hwangandand Lim, 2012). Because the company is first time innovating the IOT so there may be someissues that needed to be solved within time. To resolve the problems they should need put theeffort to trim the gap between different channels. The Gantt chart can help them to developactivities in an appropriate way (Lakatos, 2014).

Resources – The firm needs to analyse the resources which is the foundation of growthand success. Softwire should embrace its resource like finance, human resource, technology andso on. All of these are backbone growth and success that generates the high revenue andprofitability. It breaks the task in small modules that is finished by particularteam. This defines the work scope in to manageable portions that can be managed bys separateteams. Each division has a detailed information about these chunks that has to accomplished bythem. The project managers attains the target by dividing the task among the employeesaccording to their capabilities in order to mange the work faster and in an effective way andwithin specific time. This is manager's responsibility to recognise the abilities and knowledge ofthe employees that supports them to perform well in a given task and maximize the profit. Gantt chart is a tool which provides proper duration of the task in which it is completed.It is defined a graphical format that depicts the accurate data and schedule of the plan. It alsorecords the activities and individual performance that is required to know the support to attainthe goals and objectives. This provides an accurate information about the plan from thebeginning to end of task (Meredith and Mantel, 2011).
