INTRODUCTIONGlobalisation is the process of interaction and integration among the people, companiesand governments worldwide. In economies terms, it describes an interdependence of nationaround the globe through free trade. It is a social, cultural, political and legal phenomenon whichhelps in company to gain competitive advantages through the globalisation. By this company canbuy raw materials in lower rate because of the removable tariffs. The present report is based onNESTLE, which is the world largest organization, founded in 1866 by Henri Nestle and theirheadquarters in Vevey, Switzerland. This company deals with the baby food product, coffee,dairy products, confectionery and so on (Ahmed Dine Rabeh, Jimenez-Jimenez and Martínez-Costa, 2013). In the present case study, the Nestle policy deals in a recruitment and selection,training and development, remuneration etc. the company want to enhance their businessglobally and also want to select or recruit good candidates, in order to improve the method ofselection and recruitment process at internationally. This report is going to be discussed aboutthe aims and objectives which is provided in different scenario. Along with this, scope andproject management plan with the Gantt chart and Work Break down structure is going to bediscussed. Lastly the report will be ended by recommendation to the company and evaluating thereflection part for completing the project report.TASK 1P1 Devise project aims and objectivesforachosenscenario.Globalisation is the process in which people, ideas and goods spread across theworldwide. This term is mainly used in references to create an integrated global economy whichis marketed by free trade, the free flows of capital and corporate use of foreign labour market inorder to increase returns. Globalisation is very helpful term for each and every organisationwhich helps in making good profits and returns in an effective manner. It also described theconcepts about the recruiting of good candidates in external countries. Therefore, the process ofselection and recruitment is done by companies carefully in order to select right candidates forright job ( Crane and Matten, 2016). If the companies are not able to do this then they fail in

doing and can face many problems such as financial losses, wastage of time and good companyimage in front of the candidates. In the context of Nestle, it is a Swiss transactional food anddrink company and their products include in breakfast cereals, coffee and tea, frozen food, dairyproducts etc. As Nestle believes on employees are given opportunities for life time learning andright candidates must be hired to increase organisation's productivity. Therefore, nestle hasinitiated in order make different policies like remuneration, training and development, strongleadership skills and on the job or off the job trainings for increment their employee’sperformance level in a efficient manner. Background of researchNestle was formed in 1905 through the merger of Anglo-Swiss milk company,founded in 1866 by brothers George and Charles page and Farine Lactee Henri Nestle. It is aworld largest food company which serves their food globally. This company deals with lotof food items such as medical food, baby food, ice-cream, pet foods and snacks etc. As theNestle providing their food products globally so that it is important for them in order tomake good brand image in front of the customers (Den Hertog, Van der Aa, and De Jong,2010). It is also important for company to recruit or select good candidates for the job asemployees are very helpful for an organisation in achieving the goals and objectives in aeffective manner. In order to making its employees beneficial for the company, so thatNestle is working upon trainings, recruitment process and remuneration. Therefore, top levelmanagement of the company has conducted different research for identifying the variousproblems due to hire good candidates. Aim : “To determine how multinational companies improve their recruitment, selection andtraining of their employees at global scale” Objectives : To understand the concept of Globalisation in terms of recruitment and selection.To determine the various ways, by which Nestle can improve their training, selection andrecruitment process of employers at global scale.Questions:How globalisation concept is associated with the recruitment and selection?How the various ways can be determined to improve training, selection and recruitmentprocess of employers at global scale?

LITERATURE REVIEWGlobalisation is one of the biggest concept for business in the world, as this helporganisations in expanding their business from out of the box and also in different nations. Fororganisation it is very important factor, as this help them in increasing their sales, revenue andalso their profits. This is a factor that affect recruitment and selection methods used byorganisations, so that they can hire employees and make work force which is very much skilledand have capability to complete their tasks. As, an organisation performing their activities insingle nation have to hire employees only for nation in which they are performing theiroperations, where as while they start performing their operations in more than one nation, then itchange their process of selection and have to hire employees according to demands in differentnations. Along with this, it affect the selection and recruitment process of that organisation andthey have to hire new employees along with new skills and of different culture, so that they canmake work force which is capable in different types of work. This also help them in performingdifferent tasks in very effective manner, and also lead organisation in improving theirprofitability and revenues. Nestle is one of the biggest and leading organisation in the world ofcoffee distribution. They use to provide their products and services in different parts of world,and are known as one of the most loving coffee product in the world. Therefore, it is veryimportant for them to provide proper training and development sessions to their employees, sothat their skills and performance get improved. Therefore, it is very much essential for them toadopt some specific and appropriate ways, so that they can improve their training anddevelopment process at global level. There are many ways to improve training, selection andrecruitment process in which the firm can improve by defining the position and who they need tofill it, Ask the straightforward and relevant questions in the training sessions by your superiors,and while recruiting and selecting the applicants for the job they must ask relevant questions inthe interview, along with this they can test their candidates and also can improve by developingand establishing the selection committee. In addition with this this can also improve by buildingthe workplace culture that attracts full time and contingent employees.P2 Produce a project management planThe project management plan is a formal document that defines how the project ismonitored, implemented, planned, controlled and executed. This project management plan willinclude all the necessary and relevant information of the project (Eckerson, 2010). The purpose

of this plan is the written document that is used by everyone who is interconnected with theproject to get all the details about the project. This is the collection of subsidiary plans andbaselines which includes the following points, describe as below - Cost : This is the term used by the project manager who determine how much fund isrequired to complete this research project. The mangers of Nestle will identify how muchmoney is required for achieving the goal of this project. They will use the tools which areneeded in this project, by the estimation of the cost. In respect of Nestle, the cost which isrequired for increasing the recruitment process is estimated around 7000 pounds by theinvestigator. Along with this, the cost which is estimated for the company to be approx100000 pounds.Scope : Scope is referred to several aspects of growth and development. This is thefactor which help in explaining different opportunities which are available for themin present and future. For increasing the productivity and profitability of anorganisation, it is very important for them to have some effective and efficientstrategic plans. It is important for manager of Nestle to make and apply someeffective strategic plan so that their functioning and performance get improved ineffective manner ( Gebauer, Edvardsson and Bjurko, 2010). Along with this,implementation of strategic plans avails ample number of opportunities fororganisation, by which they can develop themselves. This research will help managerof Nestle in gaining knowledge that how will they improve their strategic plans bywhich performance get improved.Time : For completion of any project, it is very important for organisation to takecare about the time that will get used in it. According to researcher the time which isrequired for completing the research in effective manner is about 50 days. Whereas,the time which is required by the manager of Nestle to implement their strategicplans, by which their profit get improved is about 9 months to 1 year.Quality : When it comes to quality, it is necessary for the researcher to keep in mindthat they must make the research report in very good quality. Along with this, it isimportant for the manager of Nestle, to maintain the quality of their products andservices, while applying strategic plans in their system ( Incelli, 2013).
