However, the decisions are required to be supported following different theories to shape the essay in the next stage. Part 2 – Essay Positive Decisions Connecting with Trade Union– As it is defined in the situation, it will be appropriate for the management of MagGrow (an Irish Agritech company) to involve a trade union in this situation to resolve the issues that have affected the motivational level of employees. Normally when a conflict loom, companies look for adopting a unilateral decision in promoting the negotiation between the firms and follow dispute resolution strategies in the short term. When a company engages a trade union with conflict resolution, it will look for any possible link for negotiation in demonstrating the interest of building the report and exploring options for the firm(Bendell, 2017).It will help the company to improve the chances of discovering the trade-offs in satisfying the employers and employees. It will also improve the chances for the firm to discover new options in resolving this strike situation by affecting the situation negatively. The union will talk out the terms with the employees suiting the demand of both the parties and will come of collaborative terms(Becker et al., 2016). Initiative an employee-oriented company culture– in a strike situation, it is found that employees are either unsatisfied from the services/perks given to them by the company. Alternatively, it might also because the employers are being neglected towards the perks offered to them. Meanwhile, it will be able to increase its culturecooperation’s, collaborate its operations, improve its communication, and adopt an efficient decision-making strategy in resolving this type of problem. It will help the company to take new initiatives in creating a business like operations to increase job satisfaction, especially for the employees who are only working for a paycheck(Joyce & Paquin, 2016). Negative Decisions Downsizing– it has been found that an issue in professional setting arrive when a particular group of employee starts conflicting about any issue or concern. The set of employees are supposed to be taken into confidence and talk about negotiating pointers. However, in case they don’t agree to accept the taken decision, the management should look forward to terminating the employees as they are affecting the integrity of the company and its operations(Blackman et al., 2016 ).Though this decision can develop serious results, for example, though it can influence the operations of the firm negatively, affect the motivational level of other employees, and if not handled properly, it can trigger an intense situation for the management to control and resume the normal operations of the firm. Hence, this decision should only be taken in a very intense situation and with a proper strategy. If not, it will further damage the processes of the firm (Dulek & Campbell, 2015). Take Legal Action against the employees– as it is also defined in the decision tree that the policy of firm should entail an anti-strike agreement with the company as it will prevent the firm to make sure that they avoid any situation associated with this. In any case, if the company does not have this policy, it will be beneficial for the firm to look forward to negative the terms with the trade union with this policy so that they can negotiate their terms accordingly(Joyce &

However, it is important for the firm to make sure that these policies are designed following the employment laws as it will further influence the operations of the firm and will give an upper hand to employees in fighting the case against the company.On the other hand, it is essential for the firm to make sure that they have succeeded to fulfill the contractual commitment towards the employees so that the strike can be resolved smoothly(Bendell, 2017). Neutral Decisions Work on collective bargaining– It is important for the manager to also consider options associated with collective bargaining. In a negative situation, it is found that if it dooms down, the threat of a strike increases, and it will become difficult for the management to bring the other parties of negotiation back to the table. With collective bargaining, managers will be able to follow up with a high level of negotiation between the employees and the management to enable the employees in organizing the negotiation details that the results can be in favor of the firm. It is evident that following the neutral decision, the firm will be able to work on a balanced approach, and will reduce the damage towards the company. It will also help the company to resolve this strike situation efficiently(Becker et al., 2016).
