INTRODUCTION Marketing can be defined as activities of companies undertakes for purpose of promotion of buying and selling of products and service. Communication helps business to share message of company to customers (Deggs and Hernandez, 2018). This report includes experience of studying specialist subject in foundation year. It also includes challenges faced by a person for specialist subject. Moreover, it includes skills developed on foundation year that assist a person for progress on BA pathway. MAIN BODY Gibbs model of reflection Gibbs model of reflection is one of model which was introduced by Graham Gibbs in the year 1988 that provide structure of learning to a person on basis of their experience. It is a framework that examine experience and also provide cyclic nature that allow repeated experience and planning thing which are going well or not going well (Gibbs' Reflective Cycle, 2022). There are different stages of this model including description, feeling, evaluation, conclusion, analysis and action plan. It provides good ways through which a person can work through their experience. On basis of this, a person will be able to collaborate with team members and complete work. Explanation of different stages of this model are mentioned below: Description:In order to complete my higher education, I have joining university in my specialist area that is marketing. It is a field of my choice as I have interest in this field and also have necessary skills required for this like communication, presentation and other skills. During my study session, I have assigned various assignment and also needs to take classes. In order to improve my knowledge and learning, teacher has assignment us an assignment in which we need to prepare brand campaign for a company where I need to work with other students of class (Eales and Goodwin, 2022). In order to complete this assignment, I need to take initiate and divide whole work in different team members as per our preference and capability. I allow us to utilise us our specialisation for completion of this assignment. But there is confusion occur related to work due to which two members has done same work. In the end at time of merge our work, we have noticed this problem and needs to work on remaining part. We got frustrated during this project as we need to put additional efforts due to our mistake. 1

Feeling:Before starting study in specialist area, I was quite excited as I get opportunity to meet new people. It also allows me for purpose of developing new skills and also will boost my knowledge. During my studies, I got frustrated as I was facing various challenges. These challenges include lack of support from students and team members, problem in managing time, work burden and others (Marshall, 2019). Other people include with me in this project will also get frustrated as they also need to do rework with me. But all other people will feel satisfied now as our efforts provide us good grades in examination. Evaluation:There are various good things about this experience which helps me to complete my education in foundation year in my specialist area. These things include my interest and skills that provide me opportunity to complete my education in effective manner. Another thing is support from teachers as teacher are cooperative with me that assist me to complete my education. There are some things which does not went well as I face various challenges while studying. These challenges occur due to lack of confidence as I was feeling shy to talk to other people. I also face problem due to confusion among members related to work. Analysis:There are various reason due to which things go well as it develops different types of skills in me that will provide me opportunity. I also get support from teacher which will helps me to understand things in effective manner and provide me opportunity to complete my education in effective manner. There are some reasons due to which things does not go well including problem in managing time, lack of support from team members, work burden and other things that create challenge for me. On basis of this situation, I made sense that it is important to cross check things before completion of final work it is essential in order to confusion and also to get clarity. It allows a person to avoid last minute chaos. Conclusion:On basis of this situation, I have learned various things as I develop different types of academic skills including communication skills, time management skills, problem solving skills,stressmanagementskillsandpresentationskills(SuchmanandTrigg,2020). Communication skills allow me to share my views to another people whereas time management skills assist for managing time a a manner that allow me to complete my work on time. I also learn to develop different solution related to problem that is essential in order to overcome of problem. This situation can be more positive for me I handle situation calmly and cross check thing. 2
Action plan:If same situation occurs in future, I will handle it differently as I have learned from this situation. I also develop required skills for me to handle such type of situation which helps me to act differently (Winnicott, 2018). I will act differently by working on basis of experience and learning opportunities. CONCLUSION From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that marketing is one of important activity for any business as it allows them to get more target customers. Study of this concept is important for a student as it allow them to develop various skills that provide them opportunity in market. It is important for various reason as it improve knowledge of student that allow them to get opportunity in that field. 3
