Following report will cover the primary and secondary data for the study, aim of the report is to analyse or understand the certain factors of the industry to select as profession. This report will illustrate the general trends which will impact the chosen industry or profession, which usually lays out the globalization impact and other technological aspects, it also covers the comments that are being asked by the interviewer in order to conduct primary research. Moving on further it covers the skills and knowledge that is being required for the job role. Further it will evaluate the identification of the vacancies and certain specific questions which generally achieve with reflection. For this report I chose the marketing profession and the selected industry is retail sector. Rationale behind choosing this profession is that this particular career segment is dynamic and also allow me to increase my knowledge and skills which is good for my successful career. Methodology As for completing the following study, both primary and secondary research will lay out. For laying out the primary task which mainly involves the data from the open source communication in this certain questions being asked by the interviewer to certain marketing manager of different retail organisation, so that they will give the proper information about the job role, it will help in developing the strategies. As for the retail industry it is likely seen that companies mostly looking for global expansion, as it allows the firm to specialize and to enhance the intensity for R&D and for innovationBilińska-Reformat and et.al (2019). Thus for this it is essential for the marketing managing post to have good communication skills that will help in implementing marketing strategies in global market. With this cross cultural communication also needed to interact with people in certain country’s market. Technological advancement: Emergence of new technologies in the market also developing opportunities for the innovation, as it enables the firm to carry out any complex task in easy manner with maximum efficiency. Thus retail companies are mostly depending on BIG data, Artificial intelligence to manage their data for making effective decisions. Therefore, for working in this profession required to keep update the knowledge and skills, as for this it is
essential to have good knowledge in technologies so that it will be beneficial for the firm to meet the work place requirement in order to fulfill the demand of customers. Interviewee:As per me future trends in the retail industry are Artificial intelligence, Internet of thing, augmented reality and indoor positioning. All these technologies are likely seen to plays an crucial role in this sector. Interviewer: How would you manage workplace environment? Interviewee:To timely organize certain task for the employees and to ensure participation of each employee which helps in increasing communication which also helps in reducing the chances for the conflicts.
