Introduction
Marketing is the efficient and required approach for the organization in order
to promote the items and services (Johnson, Matthes and Friend, 2019). I am
choosing the marketing post as a profession and the industry is retail sector which is
rapid growing industry. Therefor marketing manager plays a significant role in order
to manage the work accordingly to put the unique products in front of consumers.
Following report will cover the general trends that are influencing the selected sector
and profession, it also covers the skills, experience and knowledge required for

For the retail industry there are many changes drives in the market whether it
is regarding technology or new business entry. Globalization is the major factor
which is impacting the whole global market, it is offering a opportunity for the
businesses to come forward and expand their business in international market. Rise
in globalization of country’s economy leading the market to being exposed to the
international market and in result there has been increasing in demand for the buying
experience. Emergence of technology in the market is another factor which is
impacting the whole market (Nowlin, Walker and Anaza). As because of the
globalization, market marks the new entry of business that is increasing the
competition in the market. Every businesses are coming forward to adapt the use of
technology in order to add values in their products and deliver it to the tech savvy
customers. Thus every organization is taking strategical move to hire the candidate
who have relevant skills. Thus for the applicant it is must required to know more than
one language usually a foreign language so that businesses can consider them as
their employee. Also due to the technological impact it is must necessary that
candidate should have relevant technical skills, so that they can easily hired by the
organization.
