INTRODUCTION
Quality is one thing that customers are attracted towards the products or services that are
offered by any shop. Also, the present report is based on The Cupping Room coffee shop that is
located in Australia and is known for selling bests quality coffee to its customers. Lastly, the
report will also analyse the criteria that is followed by the quoted firm in terms of delivering the
quality coffee drinks in its outlets to its various customers.
MAIN BODY
Coffee is the most used products among all age groups and is widely available in almost
all parts of the world. Also, there are various factors that are responsible for deciding the quality
of the products. Moreover, these factors are closely analysed by the coffee owner so that best
quality of products might be sold and also higher revenues might be generated for the future.
Furthermore, according to Li, Ou and Pan, (2021) quality is standard of something that is
measured against some things that seems to be similar kind. Also, in the current era if the coffees
sold in the coffee shops is not according to the set (quality) than people would switch to other
options that are available in the market where the quality of coffee is given prime importance.
Moreover, Rawat, Gupta and Juneja, (2018) stated that quality for the coffee comes from its
freshness and taste for which people are ready to even little higher prices for it. Also, the quality
of coffee is determined through its flavour which includes the essence of its aroma, acidity,
sweetness and after-taste. Moreover, the smell of freshly ground coffee is the good sign that
quality of the coffee is of supreme quality and hence it is not having any kind of coffee bean that
is defected or not having the good taste.
However, Liebminger and et.al., (2021) argued that is not only the factors that determines
whether the quality of the coffee is good or not but also there is the user testing procedure that
helps people to differentiate between the various qualities of coffee. Also, for the product like
coffee certain criteria for measuring the quality of coffee would be durability which means how
much the customer is getting benefited from the particular product before it started loosing its
quality. Thus, it means that for how long the coffee beans would be able to remain in their
original form without loosing their features. Also, in coffees shop the coffee is determined
through the criteria of compliance with the standards. Further, under these criteria certain
predications are made to analyse the success of product in the future. For instance : If the sales of
the product are falling in The Cupping Room than it might be due to poor compliance that

includes wrong labels with spelling errors, delay in the delivery of the products, certain errors in
the operations and much more. Hence, such types of mistakes become outdated with the period
that decrease the sales of any business. Moreover, quality of the coffee in The Cupping Room
might also be compared with that of the competitors so that differences in the production and
manufacturing might be compared with the others so that if certain changes or improvements are
required than the same might be done by the coffee shop to improve the sales in the future. Also,
De Haan, Hendriks and Scholz (2021) stated that not only quality is determined on checking the
internal processes inside the coffee shop but it might also be analysed in form of feedbacks that
are collected from the customers that come to visit the shop so that weakness in the services and
product is understood in well manner. However, Albayrak, Caber and Sigala (2021)criticizes that
focusing too much on the quality measures might be harmful of any coffee shop owner as
customers love quality of those products that are simple and understandable. Also, to achieve the
more attention of customers towards quality of coffee products it is essential that market is
studied deeply so that customer needs and demands are analysed in effective manner.
Furthermore, another way of measuring the quality of the coffee is through use of the metrics
calculation so that any internal defects might be easily identified and thereafter corrective
measures might be taken to make the business success against some competitors. Also, the
quality of the coffees in the Cupping Room is measured how well it is stored in the outlet and
this is possible only when it is kept in the steady and cold temperature. Further, in the coffee
shop not only the quality coffee beans is required to deliver the best coffee experience to its users
but it also required that coffee is made using the right water quality and temperature.
Moreover, it is also required that proper grinding process is adopted so that right taste
could be provided to all the coffee lovers. Also, it is known that the quality of the coffee beans
used in the shop is determined through the small testing procedure where the moisture content in
the coffee is analysed after the roasting that also reflects the shelf life of the beans. Thus, quality
is major factor to the product like coffee apart from the presentation or the ambience in which
the customer is ready to the pay higher amounts (How to Measure the Quality of a Product by
David Garvin, 2022). Also, the customers are making efforts to taste all the different variants of
the coffee beans so that the best might be chosen in accordance with the taste and preferences.
However, in spite of having different varieties of coffee in the market major determinants
determining the quality of coffee remains the same. Also, customers are ready to visit only those

shops that have adopted the consistency in delivering the quality coffee drinks to all its target
customers over the long period. Moreover, the quality is maintained inside coffee shops through
hiring professionals that are qualified in creating quality coffee cups and are expert in
contributing the success of the firms.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that quality of coffee is measured in different
criteria and hence the study had critically analysed these criteria that might help in generating
greater revenues for the firm in the future. Lastly, the study had also identified certain factors
that are responsible for the success of the firm over the years.
