It is required when there is any sort of human interactions. If the communication skill is not so good then the business organisation where he works may find some difficulties in the process of their business. All the employees should have a good communication skills in order to carry out their business effortlessly. It helps to build a good client relationships, team effectiveness, profitability of the business, as well as employee engagement (Keyton 2013). Good communication can diminished any conflict in the workplace. Any organisation may think of arranging a communication training when they find it difficult to manage and there rises a clear conflict or tension in the workplace. Irrespective of any conflict, communication plays a role of an essential factor (Stokoe 2014). Lack of communication skills can put any organisation into serious problem. It may become a cause of conflict, and the conflict may lead to the problem of misunderstanding and it may come down to the patterns of communication. When anyone is unable to attend any sort of team or individual program regarding communication, they find it difficult to communicate with the team or the manager at later stages. Neither have they understood the way others are communicating. Good communication skills is required to increase employee engagement (Wang and Hsieh 2013). Communicating means not only talking to people, it is actually more than just talking. It is all about connecting with several people. More employees’ engagement is often referred to as the most commanding benefits of any better communication. It makes all people to
2MEMORANDUM become more engaged in their own assigned work as well as it can give better support to fulfil the objectives and goals of the company, at the time when a culture of better communication is well established in a particular team or the workplace. The factors that made an impact on communication in organizations can be grouped into different categories namely, environmental factors, external factors, internal factors and other related factors. Environmental factors includes individual factors regarding the visual problems arise by impeding the message as well as last but not the least the issue of hearing. The visual factors mainly includes the lightening, conditions of the weather and the viewing angle. For example, when there is low or no light in the room, the people will face difficulties in communicating with each other in an effective way. The external factors includes economy of the company, the current competition level, and the technology availability. The internal factors includes the conflict, the attitude of the people, punctuality issue, and the style of leadership which an organisation is carrying out. Lastly the other factors includes channels of communication, source credibility, relationship between the receiver and sender (Conrad 2014).
