REFLECTIVE ACCOUNT
Mental wealth is a concept that is related with developing of positive wellbeing of in
different communities and people. It is seen that there is requirement of managing the overall
wellbeing of person for analysing the employee satisfaction. Reflection model of Gibb's is used
for managing the activities conducted in the present research. There are five steps such as
description, feelings, evaluations, analysis, conclusion and action plan used in the research in
order to maintain the business research effectively:
Description: When I was conducting this research, there are various activities that I have
conducted. It is evaluated that this research study includes both qualitative as well as quantitative
research work. For primary research, retailers and customers are chosen for collecting
information about the need of investment strategies within the company. I applied questionnaire
and conducted survey which helped me to evaluate the work properly. There are different ways
of communication used by me to manage the research work. I have used numerous secondary
sources in order to collect data such as magazines, books, articles, publication study etc.
Feelings: I always encouraged and motivated myself for conducting the project
effectively. This helped me to manage my work and prepare myself effectively in order to
conduct the research. I have gathered information and data about investment strategy for
conducting this research properly. The concept of investment strategy is effectively managed by
me when I am conducting the business activities. There is need of managing all the research
activities and tasks effectively so that I can conduct research properly. I felt nervous when I was
managing the activities properly. There is need for effectively managing the business activities
so that project is completed properly. There are some scenarios in which I felt low and in these, it
was necessary for me to keep myself motivated and conduct the business operations. It is
concluded that it is essential for me to develop skills and abilities which help to manage all the
tasks and operations properly.
Evaluations: I was affected in negative as well as positive manner when this research
was conducted. It is important to manage effective communication skills and develop strategies
which will help in collecting data and information for research properly. When effective
communication is used by the project investigator then respondents are able to manage all the
project activities effectively. There is need to develop strong strategies that will lead to managing
of research tasks properly. I analysed that my time management skills are not good enough and

thus, I am not able to conduct various tasks at the same time. I have completed the project
activities properly and developed good performance while implementing the research activities.
When time is not managed properly then there are chances of ineffective functioning of business
activities. I evaluated that I am not good a managing the time involved in conducting the project
activities properly. I lack research skills and due to this, it is not easy for me to use the best
research method, select sample size, evaluation of data through appropriate analytical tool etc.
and interpret data.
Analysis: While conducting this research, it is evaluated by me that an effective
communication and research skills are needed for conducting the business activities properly.
This helps in developing and managing the data collection and analysis properly. When I am not
able to manage an effective communication skill, it is not good for me to analyse the research
task easily and mange to achieve goals. Secondary data is used for collecting data and
information about the investment strategy. I also analysed that when I require secondary data, I
needed different number of secondary sources including articles, magazines, publication study
and many others. By using these sources I easily gathered secondary data that was useful for me
in accomplishment of research aim and objectives.
Conclusion: It has been concluded that, when I accomplished this research, I was able to
increase my knowledge regarding investment strategies. It is very important that all the activities
of research are conducted effectively in order to manage the functioning in effective manner.
This is concluded that both qualitative and quantitative research is conducted for evaluating
research objectives. By using this research, it is analysed that investment strategies have to be
managed by retailers for conducting the research work effectively. I used quantitative research
for gathering appropriate data regarding investment strategies. This research was effective for me
because it provided data in form of numbers or facts that turn to helped me in accomplishment of
aim and objectives within given time period.
Action Plan: In the Gibbs's model, action plan is the last step. This includes overall
management of my skills and abilities. It is important for me to develop my communication
skills and research skills for managing the work properly. There is need to develop strategies that
will be helpful in achieving the aims and objectives effectively. This study is conducted for
managing the work properly and developing skills which will enhance the research work. I think
my action plan for completing the research was appropriate and it helped me to manage the work

in effective manner. I have analysed the research topic and then worked upon managing the steps
involved in research.
