INTRODUCTION
After analysing the skill, trends and knowledge of specific area of finance in banking sector, the
next step is to prepare effective career action plan that guide students to attain all future goals
and objective in effective and efficient manner. As career action plan is defined as individua
career development plan that help in an individual to reach desired career goals. It is the roadmap
the help from choosing an occupation to getting a job. For the graduates students it is most
important to prepare effective action plan that help in attain all career goals. For the completion
of this project assignment, I have selected finance associative role in banking industry.
Development of effective career view point help in make career in respective industry. In the
banking sector there are various career development opportunities that facilitates to accomplish
desirable goals and objectives. In this report personal analysis, future career plan and CV are
covered that are related to specific job profile.
TASK
Personal Analysis
Personal analysis is referred as the process that includes various activities such as self-evaluation
of personal strengths, weakness, experiences, knowledge as well as opportunities and evaluate
them that they are playing vital role in attaining career objectives. Personal analysis help in
assessing all personal qualities and skills and ensure their effective utilisation in attaining all
personal as well as professional goals and objectives efficiently (Baldridge and Kulkarni, 2017).
Proper analysation of personal skills and competencies guide graduated to know about various
personal factors that secure their career in interest field. I have conducted my personal SWOT
that help me to pursuit all career goals. It facilitates me by providing deep insight which is based
on my personality such as strengths and weakness and opportunities and challenges. Personal
analysis helps me in my personal development in order to become the best version of my-self. It
determined all aspects that facilitates in preparing relative action plan for future growth. As I
want to make my career in finance department of banking industry so, there need to evaluate all
personal factors and learn some specific skills related to finance department (DeWaters, 2017).
There are different methods and help to prepare effective personal analysis and evaluation plan
that are discussed below:

Skills for future growth: There are different factors such as skills, knowledge and
competencies are required to gain growth as well as development in particular career of finance
department in banking industry. Effective, skilled and knowledgeable personal plays very
important role in development of organisation as well as they priorities those candidates who are
more skilled and productive. As skills facilitate me to prepare attractive profile than others
(Jackson, 2018). As per the requirement of finance associative, I have various skills and
competencies such as interpersonal skills, knowledge of accounting and finance, emotional
intelligence, learning interests, workaholic behaviour and proactive characteristics that help
perform all financial functions more efficiently. instead of that I felt that I can take effective
decisions according to requirement of situation quickly. All the skills and characteristic facilitate
me to perform in appropriate manner in the field of finance in order to build successive career.
Knowledge and experience: There are different knowledge and skills are learnt by me in my
academic life that enhances my overall personality. There are various financial terms, methods
and accounting measures are learnt that would help me to perform more efficiently in financial
work. There are various workshops are taken by me to learn all financial terminologies and
aspects in order to get effective job position in the field of finance to attain personal as well as
professional goals and objectives. Apart from that different training sessions are taken that
enhance the knowledge of financial as well as analytical skills that facilitates to perform all
financial task in effective manner in respective banking industry. I have worked in small
financial organisation that are situated in order to get knowledge about financial procedure as
well as it enhances my confidence level (Jones, 2017). There are different sources are used by
me to gain additions information shareholders, accounting methods and managing finance. All
these experiences and knowledge help me to gain deep knowledge to perform financial task
efficiently.

Job responsibility: There are different responsibilities are performed by finance managers
and executives in order to accomplish all defined work on time as well as maintain strong
positioning of bank. As per my views finance manager perform various roles such as collecting
and interpreting all financial information, predicting future trends, providing advice to
management department about finance, producing budget, financial statements and reports,
developing strategies, builds short and long term goals and evaluating marketing trends as well
as competitors to develop strategies effectively. All these functions and responsibilities help in
run business in effective manner.
Strengths and weaknesses: As strengths and weakness are defined as the internal
sufficiency area of improvement that impacts on overall career. As strengths and weakness are in
included in profile of student that make it more effective. In the personal analysis, there are
various personal factors are analysed by me that are related to the respective strengths and
weaknesses that affect overall growth and development so, I make list of all strengths and
prepare planning to enhance them as well as identify all weakness and overcome them through
formulating effective strategies as these are considered as the area that required improvement
(Lee, 2019). As per my personal evaluation that are various strong factor such as strong
knowledge of finance and accounting, interpersonal skills, effective communication and
workaholic behaviour as well as proper time management that will help me to perform all
financial activities efficiently. On the order hand, there are various are that requires improvement
such as proper knowledge of accounting practice, management skills and analytical skills as well
in order to perform specific financial work properly.
Career overview: As finance department plays important role in an organisation and it
provides or distributes finance to all respective department according to their requirement to
perform all task in efficient manner. In banking industry all work is related to finance and there
are job profiles are related to financial work such as finance executive, associative and manager
that have to perform various roles and responsibilities. They are responsible to prepare budget
planning as well as provide financial advice to management team to formulate policies
accordingly and facilitates them to take appropriate decisions as well (Schaupp and Vitullo,
2019). As I want to make my career in financial department of banking industry so, I have to
focus on various skills such as teamwork and collaboration, adaptability skill, project
management and problem-solving skills that facilitate to perform defined task in efficient

manner. There are various technological advancement and innovations take place in banking
industry like all function are computerised so, knowledge of soft skills are required to perform all
banking functions.

Detailed career action plan
Career action plan is referred as the detailed outlining actions and plans that are needed to attain
all desired goals and objectives. It is defined as the set of activities that are performed in well-
defined sequential manner to attain success. It is very important for graduated to prepare
effective career action plan that help them to gain desired objectives effectively. Proper action
plan helps student to enhance their basic skills and overcome weakness. As the action plan
consist various stages that must be consider by me in attaining all professional goals (Tsai and
Liu, 2020). The following action plan is for five-years that guide to perform in specific manner.
Effective execution of career action plan help to increase skills and reduce all challenges which
are faced by me in work at professional field.
In the phase of my career planning, I have been faced number of challenges which increase my
skills and competencies to attain all desirable objectives (Wiewiora and Kowalkiewicz, 2019).
This career plan helps me to conduct all work as per future plans that are important in
development of future objectives.

I would Attend various online finance management course that help me to take effective
decisions.
Conclusion
From the above report, it is concluded that, career growth and development plan as well as
work on the self-assessment process is essential for individual to achieve respective career path.
It is most important way to select career path and prepare effective career profile in order to
accomplish career goals. It is related to develop appropriate career path and perform it in proper
manner to secure success in future.
