INTRODUCTION
Personal development is all about self modifications which involves achievement of high
level of self awareness in order to strike ideal amount of work life balance, development of
potential and sharpen the existing skills in order to make them appropriate enough to deal with
further requirements in context of personal as well as professional career terms (Grace-Odeleye
and Santiago, 2019). A good employer is always accountable to enhance and encourage personal
development among their workers as it is the major responsibility of them to take the lead
towards the betterment of the employees.
This report will illustrate the concept which is based upon the mini projects workshops
contribution towards the development of employability along with creating a portfolio with the
help of using Blackboard portfolio tool.
MAIN BODY
The ways in which the mini projects workshops contributed towards the development of
employability
Employability is basically a set of achievements or skills which help to understand
personal attributes through which an individual can more likely to get employment opportunities
and become successful in their chosen occupations. This technique automatically benefit the
person along with the whole community as well (Pardo-Garcia and Barac, 2020). As per my
views, the mini projects workshops are highly beneficial in order to enhance the employability
aspects within myself which automatically move me towards the fulfilment of my career goals.
With the help of attending mini projects workshop on the basis of employability, it has been
identified that with the help of attending, so I am able to increase my chances of securing an
appropriate job role with the help to develop commercial attractiveness towards prospective
employers.
With the help of such workshops, I am able to enhance my employability abilities which
also enables me to stay in a job role for longer duration of time frame as the workshops are
designed specifically in a way which provides me great level of chances in order to gain
employment along with enhancement in my self awareness, decision-making, self-confidence,
emotional intelligence, personal well-being as well as self motivating skills. With the help of
mini projects workshop, I am able to gain certain level of practical experiences. Even though all

the projects are not solely related and relevant to the field of my study or my career but then also
I gained something from each activity that has been involved within the workshop. With these
workshops I can say that now I am equipped with new and advanced skills which includes both
soft as well as hard skills. These skills definitely enables me to make me succeed at the
workplace in my future career terms (Ayala Calvo and Manzano García, 2021). Moreover, the
mini projects workshops also enables me make and maintain a portfolio of my prime work
through which I can show off my hard work that has been saved into physical format along with
I also identified my weaknesses as well as strengths which also further enhance my personal as
well as professional opportunities.
Workshops do work over such things because employment skills, work readiness skills
or foundational skills are the required to improve in order to enhance the performance level of an
individual, minimizes errors, promote collaboration with the co-workers and helps in order to
perform the role in the most effectual manner.

Mind mapping refers to the diagram and representation of any task which helps in better
understanding in this items and concepts are related to the centralized information (Astawa,
2019). It covers the writing down the main theme, as it helps in focusing on the key points so
that one can easily made the connection, it gives the ability to map the knowledge in a manner
that helps in better understanding and for retaining the information. With the help of the mind
map one can easily develops the new learning and it also helps in encouraging the creativity and
improvises the productivity.
Research skills
It refers to the individual’s ability for finding and evaluating the useful information
regarding the specific topic. Skills of researching is most important as it helps in conducting the
study in an appropriate manner also for the students it plays an significant role for building the
knowledge. This skill also helps in developing the critical thinking and to exercise the mind so
