MITS5003 1
Question 1
TCP refers to the transmission control portico which is a standard that
has the ability to define how to develop and manage a network
communication using application programs. IP and network access both are
major layers of TCP/IP protocol. Mainly, the network access layer contains
both physical and data link layer of the OSI model but the IP layer parallels
the functions of the network layer (Omni Secu, 2016). It is observed that the
network access layer is able to control the physical transmission of signals
but the internet layer is capable to manage the logical transmission of
signals over the complete computing networks. The main protocol used in
the internet layer is an internet protocol (IPv4 and IPv6) but in-network
access layer Ethernet is used as a protocol which is able to manage the
complete process. In the context of control information, the internet layer is
embedded with the IP protocols but in-network access layer control
information is embedded with ARP protocol (Geeks for Geeks, 2018).
Question 2
It is observed that both prime ministers have a translator and
telephone system for performing data communication. The below
connection diagram will help for understanding the situation which
connects telephone and translator of French PM to the translator of Chinese
PM.

MITS5003 2
Both French and Chinese PMs speak directly to each other using a
translator system that has the potential to convert signals into another
form. It is assumed that the French PM speaks to Chinese PM then the
information is transmitted through French translator that converts the
signal into the English language. The developed translator passes the
transmitted information to Chinese PM’s translator using the telephone and
telephonic lines. Finally, the translator used by Chinese PM translates the
signals and transfer to the Chinese PM that receives a proper signal sent by
French PM.
Question 3
First wave:
Amplitude= 15
Time period= 3 seconds
Phase= 0 degree
Frequency= 1/3 Hz
For second wave:
Amplitude= 4
Time period= 6.5 seconds
Phase= 0 degree
Frequency= 1/6.5 Hz
For third wave:
Amplitude= 7.8
Time period= 2.3 seconds
