There are major four layers involves in the TCP/IP model for example
application, transport, internet and network access layer. This section
mainly focuses on the IP and network access layer and describes a
comparison between these layers. The term IP refers to the internet
protocol layer which is responsible for defining addresses and providing
data packets (Edwards, & Bramante, 2015). However, the network access
layer is defined as the network interface layer which is responsible for the
physical networks and connections that perform data transmission.
As compared with the network access layer internet layer utilizes the
addresses of sources and destination for facilitating the transmission of data
between the transport and network layer (Mileva, and Panajotov, 2014). In
the case of the internet layer, there are major two derivatives of internet
protocol uses including IPv4 and IPv6 while the network access layer
contains address resolution protocol and point to point protocol. From the
recent study, it is evaluated that in the context of IP layer addresses of
source and destination are embedded for controlling and handling
communication between the sources. But, in-the network access layer,
physical network and protocols are embedded in order to manage errors
and problem occurred in the communication channels.

In this question a communication scenario is provided which include French
PM and Chinese PM along with the translator and telephone that is
highlighted below:
So, in order to understand and evaluate the communication process
between French PM and Chinese PM a connection diagram can be used that
connect translators and communication networks with each other using
telephone lines.

In order to perform data transmission both prime ministers use translator
networks that are able to convert transferred data into another language.
Now, suppose the prime minister of French communicate with the Chinese
prime minister then the transmitted data will pass through the translator
and telephone to the translator used by Chinese PM. Furthermore, the
translator uses by French PM convert signals into English language and
transfer to the destination which also contains translator for converting
signals into original form. Therefore, performing communication between
both PMs Translator plays a key role that helps to transmit data over the
telephonic systems and provide proper communication between source and
destination.
